Got a bag of corn, boiled for an hour and change until it was squishable but firm. Jarred and steam sterilized. The plate used was from a spore tube. I picked what I thought looked best and put it into this plate.

It looks very healthy! Gave it a good shake to help speed things up.

Looking good so far! Shaking it up had a positive effect and helped spread the mycelium to various points in the jar. Fuzzy white spots popping up everywhere!

I picked what I thought looked best and put it into this plate. The agar stuck to the side after I shook it up. Hiding it in the dark on a regulated heat mat they sit around 75 degrees
