Almost 24 hours later and the condensation is back in the closet bag #2 so I moved it to my grow room on top a veg tent. AIO bag #1 looks good again after dry some so break n shake then hung back in tent 🧠.

Decided to experiment with each differently since there appears to be contamination in the AIO bags. I followed protocols with fire sterilization of the needle tip before each use when injecting so not sure if it’s the ports sealing, the quality of sterilization in them, not wearing a mask or even the syringe possibly being contaminated but I’m mostly leaning towards too much moisture being the culprit since I could see lots of condensation within the bags but the UB bag seems fine with mycelium winning. I had such luck with my first experimental attempt in my tent so I decided to hang one (#1) in a flower tent to continue colonizing vs the trich and did a break n shake to the other bag (#2). My Co2 bags in the tent turn into solid white bricks in about 3 weeks so hopefully the environment in there is good for this strain also, as for the break-n-shake bag it had a decent amount of bright white healthy mycelium vs trich but wasn’t ready for b&s yet, my thought is the compaction was making it sweat and the shake would help to gather the moisture from the walls which it did. Note-within 10-15 minutes of hanging in the tent the condensation in #1 began evaporating so I may move #2 there later when lights come back on because it began to build back up a few hours later.

DAY7 (Inoculation Stage) The All-In-One bags are starting to colonize at what I believe is a slow pace but I’m not sure, they feel a bit cold so they’ve been moved from inside the futon to a dark closet shelf out of direct light after sanitizing and I opened the larger bag they’re in for better air/gas exchange. The Uncle Bens bag appears to be contaminated, the bit of green color is a 100% sign of contamination but I also see mycelium growth that appears more rapid in pace so I’ll keep it and see who wins. I put the UB in the closet also but kept it in the large plastic bag. I’m thinking the contamination is from the side slit I made for FAE, so next UB-tek attempt will only have the puncture spot with tape. I’ll check again in 7 days to see if it’s break and shake time.

Inoculated on 04/18/2024 between 12:45pm-12:50pm using 4ML per AIO bag and 2ML in UB bag, the low rate may increase time but should still work. The UB was torn and taped simultaneously about 1/8” along the factory opening then injected in the top center above the rice and taped the same way. In preparation AIO bags were left in the shipping box on the radiator set at 70F for 24hrs and injected in self sealing port. My theory is that spores will kinda “reactivate” from their dormancy in refrigeration faster if injected into a substrate with a suitably warm temperature already. Used a big box for a “still air” space and completed all work in a new large clear shipping bag within there, everything including the grain bags themselves was vigorously sprayed and wiped down with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Gave the spores a good shake and heated the needle tip til red and wiped with alcohol before each bag. Before anything showered and put on rubber gloves, no clothes except hairnet (forgot face mask/beard net).

All-in-One bags arrived today so everything will be inoculated at the same time later, UB will go to bulk in the inflatable tub if successful. Any and all tips from those who do this are welcome t.I.a and lmk if I’m missing something 🙏🏾
