+1

Watered like two days ago with the week 3-4 feeding levels. Looking good after some heavy defoliation to bring down the number of heads. Less is more, so lollipopping and removing the tall skinny slower branches will definitely help the ones I keep fill out.

Day: 350

Switched to slower around Aug 27th when I changed their water and started them in the early flower regimen. I adjusted the lights and added the trellis, however I think it’s a little late as they’ve started to bud. I haven’t done a photo properly so I guess I expected a longer transition period haha. I had to defoliate and remove a lot of lower stems that aren’t going to produce anything worth while. I feel she is smaller because she’s in the farthest light that gets the lowest power, so I made adjustments.

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 You could still weave those into the trellis. Will help support the buds too

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL Yea I just need to find some time today to get her set. I usually try to spread them out as much as possible with lst so it isn’t as much pressure on the trellis but it’s hard to get a wider area with ties in on a dwc buckets

Day: 336

Did some much needed trimming about a week ago. They all went ham on foliage over the weekend. They’re soaking up the water crazy fast and roots are healthy and plenty. I’m still feeding the last week of veg on the schedule but I flipped to flower today on the 12/12 cycle vs the 20/4 I had them on. I honestly don’t even remember what I was thinking with switching from the 18/6 I had but o well haha they loved it. Their stems and trunks are nice and thick and once c e they start to reach I’ll bring in the trellis to spread them out.

Changed the res about 3 days ago. Week 4 feeding with silica and such. Roots took off and the leaves were showing she was stressed by growing one point and three point leaves. I then turned the third light on and raised all the lights. I believe everyone is around 550-650 par

Day: 306

+2

I’ve been checking the ph and the slime and all has been well. 5.6ish ph. I added 6ml of kelp to the about 2.5-3 gal in the res. I defoliated, she’s stretching and is sturdy. I began LST. Debating on topping her. I upped the lights and raised them. They’re at about 550par.

Day: 297

+1

Fed them two days ago. Added the silica proper this time 6ml. I added 9ml peroxide. Upped the feeding to week 2 medium and they’re loving it. Continuing to watch the ph. I noticed the others had brown spots before I changed the res, but she didn’t have any effected leaves 🤷🏽‍♂️ Not sure why but there’s this stuff that formed since the last change. Is this normal for silica?

Day: 293

+2

Decided to move the most successful clone to DWC. She’s flourishing! Successfully cloned directly in the rock wool. Fed with the week 1 medium 2ml/gal everything. I added a new silica amendment today 6ml for the ~4gal that’s in the res. Still the same mixture from the start, just added hydrogen peroxide and the silica and phed. I’m also removing the lid so she can work on her strength with the fan blowing in her. Her clone sister unfortunately didn’t make it, but I plan to get some clones to get pollen and breed her, but also mother this cutting.

@eaegifts

@eaegifts Hey growmie just a tip, you may need to mix a new res because silica needs to be mixed in first. I usually mix up silica in a separate container of water if I’m adding it to an already made res, if mixed improperly you’ll sometimes see it floating on top of the water 👍🏾. Looking good though, the reveg gonna be wild.

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL I read something about that but figured I’d give it a shot anyway, I’m impatient lol. Ok I’ll change the res tomorrow thank you for confirming that. And for an established res, you mis it in water on the side then add the water to the res and that works? It just can’t be direct? I don’t see any floating but I think I did notice it getting cloudy.

@eaegifts

@eaegifts Yea if it’s getting cloudy it’s likely the silica. I can’t remember the exact reason why but it doesn’t like to mix so yea I’ll sometimes mix it in plain water so it dissolves completely then add it to my feed when I forget to add it first.

Day: 233

Watered her last night with week 1 bloom for the second time now. Looking to get an ac for the room before flipping

Day: 219

Watered her last night with just water and microbes. I tried to transplant her into a bucket but that didn’t work as it wasn’t wide enough. I ended up just shaking some older soil off and adding a layer to the bottom of the same planter, then putting her back. I added straight FFOF and silica to the top, bottom, and hopefully it’ll run to the sides as I water. She’s completely spread out now and waiting to flip. I want her to bounce back a little before I flip

Did a lot of chopping last night. Watered two nights ago and tonight I plan to transplant. I removed the trellis as I killed off lumi. I’m going to use a bucket and add extra soil around her. Hopefully this helps retain moisture for flowering

Watered last night with 2 gal and the same feeding schedule. I removed the trellis and started bending her open more. I removed A LOT of lower growth. Points where I removed branches started to grow hydra growth with 2-3 shoots sprouting. I need to put the trellis back in and top her after I get her where I want to be.

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 What size pot is that? 3 gallon? She looks thirsty

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL It’s actually a 7 gal and I may need to go bigger 😅 she was definitely thirsty, but she bounces back very well so no worries.

Day: 166

Watered last night 2.5 with 17/16/12, 6ml kelp and worm castings, 6ml calmag. I also got a new fan and had to add a trellis. I’m deff going to top her but I need to make room in the tent first. I can’t wait. I also want to switch her to hydro. I wanted to up pot but I hate having to move this thing around

Day: 157

I forgot to log the last watering to I waited till she told me she was thirsty. Fed her with 2.5 gal 17/16/12ml micro gro bloom with 12/12ml kelp and worm castings and molasses. I then topped her with a good amount of silica as it’s been a long while.

Day: 150

Watered today and went backwards in feeding schedule to reintroduce the vegging nute levels. 2.5 gal with myco recharge and molasses with some fish shit. I trimmed a lot off as I’m making room for a trellis once I get Myra out. Her ph was perfect after reading the runoff.

Day: 140

Watered with just water, molasses, and microbes. Topped with a heap of worm castings. Ph 2.5 gal to 6.3ish. Since there’s more room now I want to open her up

Watered last and fed night with a repeat of week 2 flower. She seems VERY happy and healthy. I also added fish shit molasses and kelp. I’m worried about when I flip to flower if she is going to reach up any more.

Day: 129

I topped about 4-5 branches to level the canopy. Idk why I didn’t consider that sooner 🤦🏽‍♂️ it’s exactly what I needed. She’s at around 885 par and thriving!

Day: 124

Watered last night with 13.25ml micro, 11.5ml grow, and 15ml bloom to 2.5 gal with recharge, molasses, kelp, 1ml clonex, and fish shit for the first time. Week two of the flower regimen. She’s gaining her color back and bouncing back quickly! I only removed big fan leaves inside and maybe 1 or two branches that aren’t too great. I am going to flip to 12/12 soon. I want to give her another week or two to bounce back and see what she does.

Day: 119

+8

Watered last night with the general hydro nutes with the full dose of early flower nutes. About 10.5 ml micro, 9.5ml grow and 12ml bloom with molasses, kelp, and recharge. I also removed a few branches that were under the canopy

Day: 118

+12

I removed a LOT of lower growth that had little to no hope. She seems very happy but looks hungry. I flushed and started the new nutrients, and I plan to up the feeding tomorrow. I took about 4 clones from her while trimming. One of the older clones is in hydro now!

pufferfishkai WOW 😳 that plant is beautiful!

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL Thank you ☺️

Day: 114

+1

Fed her last night with about a gallon of leftover nutes from the hydro grow diluted in two gallons of water. Ratio would be about or under 6ml micro, 5.5ml grow, and 4ml bloom to three gallons. This is hopefully a forgiving enough intro to the new nute line. The water also had recharge, 5ml kelp, and molasses. I’m worried as I see a lot of necrosis on the lower leaves and the top and outer leaves are all fading and a lighter green. Hopefully she takes to the new food and bounces back.

Day: 113

She’s fading more so I want to switch the feed and feed her with the general hydroponics tomorrow for the first time. Hopefully she takes to it. Overall she seems happy though, just off color and some necrosis on the lower leaves

Day: 108

I ended up going forward with the flush. I used about 10 gal phed to 6.2ish and let it completely soak then run through. I’m going to switch to general hydroponics nutes since I have it and it should be easier to fix whatever is going on.

Day: 107

I think I’m going to flush next watering… we’re heading in the wrong direction. Compare this green to the green of the hydro next to it. Any tips?

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL I’ve been giving calmag supplement, still an issue?

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 I give both . Cal/mag + a good tablespoon / gallon epsom salt every 4 or 5 feedings or so.

Watered last night with a fertilizer tea. About a tablespoon of all purpose and bloom, half tablespoon of silica, molasses, and a little recharge for two days. Then added 5 ml calmag, 10ml kelp, and 1ml clonex root stimulant day of watering. The bent branches are really bouncing back I just had to rebend one. About 900 par and the bent tops are still tacoing, I’m going to take it as a stress reaction.

Day: 101

Going to try and water today. She’s got some tacoing still even though I raised the lights higher. The heat is around 79-82 F lights on.

Yesterday I made a bold move and I tried my hand at some high stress straining! I also will be using a pat meter going forward. Some of the higher branches were at 920 par while the lowers were at 820. I bent the top maybe 6inches and continued to lst some other branches that were too far above the rest of the canopy. Within the night she turned all the bent branches up!

Day: 96

+10

Watered today with 10ml kelp, molasses, recharge, and about 9ml calmag to 2gal water. I also added about a ml of clonex as a root stimulant. Didn’t have to defoliate much, but I did remove a few branches with little hope of success. I need to remember less is more. I don’t want to run into under watering or feeding again.

Day: 85

+10

Watered today. I made a tea of worm castings, all purpose and a little bloom fertilizer as she’s showing sex, molasses, and a good amount of recharge. This mixture say on a stir plate overnight and was thrown into the mix with a ml of kelp, a little more Epsom salt, and a little more of my calcium mixture like two tspn. She looks like she has a deficiency for sure but I also realized she had a tie on her main stem that was bottlenecking her and maybe causing some of the stuff I see. I also see lots of growth from the topped location, the knuckle is gnarly, and the stems after the knuckle is all red. I’m also seeing some trichomes development. Heavily defoliated and Lollipopped finally removing lower branches that don’t have much potential. Two clones willl be added.

Day: 79

+2

Watered her today. Made a tea with molasses, a little all purpose granuals, Epsom salt and a calcium egg acv solution, kelp, and recharge since last watering was just water. She looks like she’s hungry and her leaves are textured. I only defoliated stuffed and munched leaves that didn’t have room and would only cause trouble.

Day: 73

+2

Watered last night with just water. I too dressed her with 3Tbsn of All purpose, 1.5Tbsn silica, and myco to worm castings. She’s showing early stages of fading on some lower leaves and the new growth and higher leaves have a rigid texture, light green overall, thinner width wise, and some tips are browning or changing color? Trimmed a few fan leaves in the center but left her alone overall.

BINAII

BINAII You ready for this? Answer: Give her a tea. Castings, all purpose, kelp if you have it, and mycorrhiza.

ZaddyXL

ZaddyXL I usually water with kelp and I’ve done a castings tea before. Does all purpose in the tea actually help get it to the roots sooner? I’ve thought about it but wasn’t sure if it had merit or if I’d be over feeding that way

BINAII

BINAII What’s the calcium intake looking like?

Day: 66

Watered yesterday/last night with molasses, recharge, and kelp with maybe a gallon of water? Last time she took the two but this time not so much. Gave her a heavy defoliation and started choosing which shoots I really want. I’m aiming to remove the first and second lower shoots on the stems just to give space and focus on the less is more tactic. I also topped her in two places to make the canopy even . Continued to adjust lst ties.

Day: 59

+6

Watered today with a gallon and a half of kelp, recharge and molasses. I defoliated a bunch and removed a lot of lower bud sights. Adjusted lst ties also. This knot on the main stem is gnarly! Some of the leaves are speaking to me with their texture and I’m taking it as stress by the ties, heat, or the fact I let it go for 10 days no water. Calculated though not by accident.

Day: 56

+5

Did some lst two days ago and she’s already overgrown it. Leaving the ties as is for a few more days but I defoliated so she was more comfortable. I noticed I snapped the main stem, but it’s still attached. I’ll leave it, but I did consider topping her at that point. Still kinda want the less is more approach

Day: 51

Watered yesterday with 15ml help, molasses, and recharge in 2.5 gal. I defoliated a few troublesome leaves at the bottom or bent up in the middle. Started to LST some lower shoots now that they’re long enough. The main stem has a small tear from over bending… I was tempted to top her but decided against it for now.

Day: 41

+1

Watered two days ago with recharge, molasses, and upped the kelp from 1ml to 10ml in the 2.5 gallons phed. First full watering for her in the big guy. I also retrained her and continue to tuck leaves. The lower leaves that we’re losing color are looking healthier, just still less color. The new growth is looking proper and happy! Just very slow moving still. I HAVE NOT USED A HUMIDIFIER SINCE SEEDLING! I removed the domes when they were ready and just stopped refilling it. It stays around 48-54% rh and they seem happy. Par may still be around 350

Day: 37

+1

Checked on her today. The past few days her lower leaves have been droopy. It’s actually been since I transferred. I’m chalking it up as a little stress because her top leaves look great. I started the lst and her shoots are finally starting to reach out a little. I believe I stunted her and maybe the small pot wasn’t the right move for so long. I have faith that since she’s a photo she’ll bounce back.

Day: 34

Watered yesterday with 2ml kelp and myco to 2 gal after I transplanted her into a 7gal airport! First time over 5gal. I filled the soil with 50\50 FFOf and Roots organic, about 9 bowls full each, and 2:2:1 ratio of perlite. I amended with a cup of worm castings, 4tbsp all purpose, about .5 cup silicaI, and at the bottom I put 2Tbsn bloom. I also boosted the lighting a little, turned both on at 60% about 18” away from canopy. Started lst very lightly since she may have transplant shock. Her roots were showing on the sides but not bound by any means. Maybe since she was in a smaller pot that’s what caused the first few tiers to be so tight together?

Day: 24

Everyone seemed really happy today and looks like they exploded! Still misting the domes, keeping the heat 75-80, and opening the air holes fully. It seems like they really like they’re environment. Raised par from about 180 to 270.

Day: 22

Watered them on two days ago. First full watering. I added some myco, some kelp concentrate, and amended the soil with silica as I don’t think I used it in mixing the soil. She received a complete soil watering. The watering method disrupted the soil a lot so I did some remodeling and supported the stem and hid the exposed roots. Note: her leaves are curling and edges are raising on the new growth. This tells me light stress? The curling tells me heat stress? Tamera has been growing slower and I just noticed her second trier leaves are only one point leaves, not three. Was she stressed? Did I leave them to dry too long and not provide enough water?
