Anyone know why these buds look like that on the top

organic_grower

organic_grower Maybe to close to the light.. what's your temps in the tent?

triston805

triston805 It’s 79 degrees right now. I’m thinking because of light stress

organic_grower

organic_grower Ya that was my first thought how close are the lights to the canopy?

Photos 8,9,10 are from a previous day. Just want to make note we believe this is a result of light bleaching. Too much light/light stress. Reduced lights from 100 percent to 80 percent. Day 37 in flower

Any thoughts on this? Should the pistils be turning brown this early? Are they getting burnt from the light? We have about a 1200 ppm of co2. Plants are getting watered 4 times a day. Temp stays right around 80-82 degrees. We’re following a feed chart and Kind LED light recommendations

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 Why are you watering 4 times a day? Are you soaking them good with each watering ?

triston805

triston805 It’s in coco and it’s a flood and drain system. Was watering 3 times a day. Not sure what to do. I think this is a result of late light stress

ig:@eaegifts

ig:@eaegifts Light stress is unlikely due to the lower part’s being affected also. It looks like you have a lockout but it’s hard to distinguish if the spots are calcium or potassium deficiency. You should water plain ph’d water and check the runoff ph.

DANKY_KIDDSTER Under watering

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 Could be begging for humidity

triston805

triston805 The humidity is actually really high. We just put a dehumidifier in the room to try and get it down. We water three times a day. These plants will drink 60 gallons in about 5-7 days.

Any reason why the leaves are getting burnt at the ends?

lulshneeks

lulshneeks either light burn or nutrient burn i think

drdave1

drdave1 To much feeding

triston805

triston805 Yeah probably. We got the right amount of EC now. I think the light was a little to close and it was getting hot in there

Snowy Roads

Snowy Roads Love the Terp Tea! I use it at 1/4 strength with my other nutes.

triston805

triston805 Right on. Yeah I did about 4 tablespoons for 5 gallons. I only dumped one of those cups onto each plant

Anybody have any ideas?

Caliban

Caliban Leaf tip burn probably some nutrient burn. Not a worry if you skip a feeding and check ph to make sure you are balanced in the soil. Otherwise not a deficiency but possibly a little burn.

Caliban

Caliban Heat too might cause those burns at the fringe of the leaf?

triston805

triston805 Yeah I don’t think it’s getting too hot in there, I think ur right. Maybe a little nutrient burn. We are pushing heavy feeding. We are in coco and it’s a flood and drain system. Should the runoff water ppm be lower than the water going in? I’ve always seen it’s supposed to be but the ppm levels have stayed at 1340-1360ppm500 since the first feeding to the last. It runs nearly a 3.0 EC. I’ve ready that is high but we are just following the feeding charts. It’s been like that since we transplanted them in here.

organic_grower

organic_grower Loving the air cube set up!!!! I was looking at them are they worth it? Looks like it's working awesome.

triston805

triston805 Thank you! It’s a great system for our purpose and our limit on time. I think soil can make better bud but we need it to grow as fast as possible so we went with this. It’s in coco and we have a 60 gallon water reservoir. 11 plants drink 60 gallons a week. It’s worth it if you use it for more than a few runs I feel. We were running a different EBB and flow set up last year. This air cube is much better. I really like the cloth buckets that sit in the blue plastic buckets. It’s easy to pull the plant out and work on it and then just drop it back in the bucket. Plants seem very happy

Plants looking like they are getting a little too much water or light. Two plants are showing the tips of leaves bending down. I was watering once a day for 30 minutes. Probably too long of a flood. It is now on a 15 minute water/flood once a day. Will adjust maybe twice a day or lower light power from a 100% to 80%
