Heroes hydro

Deep water culture

I’m using the Humboldt’s Secret Starter Kit 2, but I am omitting golden tree. In a previous grow the organic, kelp-based supplement caused root rot in every single one of the plants. Lost $150 in seeds and an entire harvest. Set me back but now I’m all non organic for the nutrients

JetFuel420 Plants looks amazing ! Can I ask , are you using CO2 ? Also what nutes!

loadediaper747

loadediaper747 Humbolt’s Secret Starter Kit 2! No CO2, However these are deep water culture hydro under a 600w HPS bulb. I was trying to maximize potency for these plants and growers online say hydro+tons of light.

JetFuel420 Awesome they look crazy for no CO2 . I do hydro and it’s the best way to go I think . Clean easy and once you get the nutrients and water days down it’s a awesome grow!!! Thanks man keep growing

Little slower than their taller and closer-to-the-light counterparts. But pistils still 20% darkened. All are very frosty with clear trichomes and heads

Water change for skywalker and banner. Added flower stacker to all reservoirs now. Top leaves of the skywalker and banner are getting frosty. I think these will produce a decent bit of bud even after a rough vegetative stage.

Day: 83

pH 5.7-6.2. Little gals are starting to fill in a little more. I keep trimming the canopy as to allow light to penetrate.

Can’t praise B-52 enough for helping these plants make a harvest. I had to cut golden tree out of the reservoirs as it was causing root rot. B-52 (with some kelp in it) has done a good job replacing golden tree.

I have moved all plants that are ready for flower into the same tent (maybe slightly premature on the two young hydros, but I have a schedule to keep). Hydros are doing OKAY. Root ball pictured is from biggest plant. First pic is hydros on the left. Soils on the right

Day: 57

Switched the hydros and soils around for height discrepancies. B52 might be working as the leaves are SLIGHTLY less yellow. Will keep watching

Day: 56

Tonight they flip to flower. Will defoliate a little. They are small for hydros and a bit yellow. Did a long flush yesterday and started adding b52 vitamin supplement to help these leaves look a little darker.

The Two no names have grown bacteria after a fresh water change twice now. I’m giving up on them. The banner, skywalker, and black widow are all doing okay

GROWNH

GROWNH I’m no expert, but just based on the droop in your leaves, your ph may be off...🤷🏻‍♂️

mystrain420

mystrain420 Try a product called southern Ag garden friendly fungicide it’s basically hydro-guard but stronger. I’m using it I’m a dwc grow and the roots don’t seems to matter now. Plant is thriving on day 42 of flower next to her sister in coco. Some frozen water bottles and h2o2 might help in the time being for a day or two until u can get beneficial bacteria in there. Are you checking you res temps and making sure your pump is on always

mystrain420

mystrain420 All your other roots look amazing 👍🏾.
