Feminized Mimosa clone that I got from El at the Holyoke Cannabis Cup. I am not sure at what week the plant was but I have been keeping it in the vegetative stage for now to low stress train her. (10/24/21)

My current Mimosa Clone on Oct 30. I started doing the 18hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness light schedule for almost a week now and I think it’s had some good growth. Thinking if I should trim some of the leafs. I also want to continue low stress training what does anyone recommend?? Thanks 🙏

dankfader I wouldn’t trim anything yet as it still needs those leaves to help it grow and trimming does cause stress, I would top it and then do some low stress training to spread it out a little then you should start to see it fatten right up 👍🏼 happy growing
dankfader I checked your journal it doesn’t look like it’s grown a lot…. Are you ph your water after nutes have been added? How far away is your light?
emily_jane13x I was recommended not to top it because it is a clone and that I wouldn’t grow past being topped.

Most recent picture (oct 22). She has grown a lot I have been low stress training her and noticed lots of new growth. I feel like there still to many leaves but I’m not sure if to trim or not. I started to add some liquid nutrients called soul grow from aurora innovations still not sure how 3-1-1 ratio works but I did what the instructions said tbsp per gal. Hopefully this can increase some yield. Any recommendations on better nutes? Or if I should trim/ remove some leafs? Also would love some feedback on low stress training! =]

emily_jane13x I have been keeping her 24 hrs under the light. I’ve been told that keeps her in the vegetative stage longer and yes she’s a clone
mystrain420 _@eaegifts Is it a reveg clone though as in was it cut off a plant that was a few weeks into flowering? I ask because the single blade leafs look like she’s reverting back to Veg from flowering. Also 24hrs light is a bad idea, plants need to sleep, so much work is done during lights out that our eyes can’t see but you’ll definitely see better growth if she sleeps. Do 18 on 6 off and it’ll stay in Veg until u switch to 12/12 but it’ll grow better in the time being.

A 3 weeks after I got her and transferred her from a cup into a small pot - still don’t know a good soil mix but I used Fox Farm ocean soil for now . I noticed she’s been trying to recover.

Caliban FF Ocean Forrest is good soil. How well it will deplete nutrients in about 3 weeks so be sure to keep top dressing with nutes. 👍
