Final update. Gelat.OG is going on 11 days of cure/5 day dry; total weight of 57g. Purple Haze is going on 7 days of cure/6 day dry; total weight of 65.3g. First 4 pics are the Gelat.OG, last 6 are the Purple Haze.I did sample a good amount but still measured in a qp across 2 plants

Late update. This is the harvest off the Gelat.OG; filled up two quart sized jars and they’ve been curing for 2 days now after a 5 day dry. They could have used another day or so since they haven’t stabilized down to 60-65% humidity, but it’s doing good. Purple Haze is still in the tent drying, I may jar her tonight or tomorrow for a 4-5 day dry. Last pic is the Gelat.OG mainline skeleton, I’m gonna save them because they are cool once dry. I’ll get weight recorded once I stabilize the buds at around 60% RH

Chopped down the Gelat.OG; today marks 9 weeks of flower. I took the microscope to the plant last night and I saw some buds with a good amount of amber and some with a few here and there. I couldn’t get a good shot because my hands aren’t very steady but I concluded she was ready. Usually I would hang her in the tent, but since the purple haze is still going I decided to put her in the closet

A few more top shots. The Gelat.OG was due on Saturday but I still wasn’t really seeing any amber, I’m thinking to giver her the complete 9 week flower. The Purple Haze is coming along, really putting on mass, I expect at least another week. Anyone have any tips on where to look for amber trichs? Shots 3 and 4 are of the Gelat.OG; anyone think they’re ready based on bud shots alone?

Getting some purps on the Gelat.OG. I’ve decided to start flushing both plants today instead of just the gelato. By the breeder specs, the Gelat.OG has another week and the Purple Haze about 12 days
