First Grow GSC Ebay seeds

GSC #1

One GSC fem seed (hopefully), started in an 18oz nursery pot using root riot starter cubes in a mix of potting soil and compost. Plan to transplant to a 5gallon fabric pot with FF Coco Loco and FF trio nutrients in a few weeks when the rest of my supplies get here. Grown using 1500W TMLAPY COB LED light with a 200w agrobrite CFL as supplemental lighting in a 3ftx3ftx6ft grow tent. I have two oscillating fans, a 6in carbon filter and vortex inline fan as ventilation. This is my very first grow so I’m expecting some mistakes along the way, my only goal with this grow is to simply make it from the beginning to the end and learn as much as possible on the way.

Day: 17

Plant is thriving! Still dealing with a little heat damage but our new tent is here and I’m hoping that should help out a little bit!!

Day: 15

9 days since she broke the surface. The plant is currently about 2.5 inches tall, she is beginning to sprout her 5 point leaves now! She’s been growing pretty strong, I had an issue with heat and it caused a bit of canoeing but I’ve adjusted and she seems to be recovering. I’m praying I’ll be able to have the rest of my supplies here (soil and nutes) by the end of the month so I can transplant and flip her over to flower. So far I’m a proud papa, hope the good growth continues!

Day 7 since breaking the surface and as far as I can see she’s thriving.

Day: 12

She’s looking good! Still battling light intensity and heat problems. This issue will probably persist until I’m able to set up a proper grow tent and move from my janky little cardboard box.

Day: 11

She’s taking off!! Currently running 24/0 lighting and as you can see by the canoeing I’m running into some heat issues. Boosted my ventilation but I’m afraid the damage may already be done to those little guys. On the bright side, first set of 3 point leaves are coming in and other than the heat stress no other obvious issues!

Day: 10

She’s looking good! First set of leaves are coming in nicely, you can see new growth beginning to sprout from the center of the plant.

Day: 9

First set of leaves starting to out grow the cotyledons. I hate the medium I’m using right now, and I don’t thinks she’s really favoring it either. Ready for the coco loco to be here! Tonight was the first light watering I did for the plant since germinating. I used a solution of distilled water and organic coconut water to start the seed and help promote healthy root growth. Tonight I’ll be watering with plain distilled water, just enough to moisten up the soil, maybe about 5 or 6oz of water.
