Auto Bruce Banner XXL Update - Day 85 (6/14/2025) I've harvested Plant #2 and Plant #4, with trichomes exhibiting a milky white color and approximately 15% amberization, indicating optimal maturity. Both plants showcased desirable dense bud structure, with Plant #2 developing two prominent colas and multiple smaller, yet equally dense, buds. Plant #4, while smaller in stature, still produced a compact, dense cola. Following harvest, I performed a thorough bud wash and transferred the plants to a climate-controlled grow closet, where the temperature is maintained at 60°F (15.5°C) via air conditioning. This environment will facilitate optimal drying and curing. Plant #1 and Plant #3 are nearing maturity, with an estimated 1.5 weeks remaining before harvest. I'm particularly excited about Plant #1, which has developed a uniform canopy with multiple dense buds. Plant #3, while slightly uneven in its development, boasts two substantial main colas, and I'll be monitoring its progress to determine if progressive harvesting is necessary to accommodate the lagging cola.

Auto Bruce Banner XXL Update - Day 74 (6/04/2025): My Auto Bruce Banner XXL plants are thriving in their flowering stage, with Plant #1 standing out as a particular favorite. Although photos don't fully capture their beauty, I plan to record a video before harvest to showcase their development. Observations suggest varying maturity levels among the plants. Plant #1 will likely require an additional 3-4 weeks of flowering, while Plants #2, #3, and #4 appear to be 1-2 weeks ahead, potentially needing only 2-3 more weeks. To determine optimal harvest timing, I'll be monitoring trichome development using a magnifying glass, targeting a milky appearance with amber undertones. Given the staggered maturity of individual colas, a progressive harvest may be necessary to allow each to reach its full potential. Current nutrient regimen consists of cal-mag and bloom boosters, having discontinued silica supplementation. I'm considering flushing the plants with plain tap water for the final two weeks to assess potential benefits and reduce nutrient costs. To prevent potential pest issues, I've begun applying Lost Coast Plant Therapy in the afternoons, as I've observed occasional whiteflies. This treatment will also allow me to evaluate its impact on bud flavor and quality.

Auto Bruce Banner XXL Update - 5/27/2025 - Day 66: As we enter the third week of flowering, all four plants are progressing well, with Plant #1 standing out for its exceptional growth and development. The plant's canopy is forming beautifully, and the buds are developing nicely. Based on its current trajectory, I anticipate Plant #1 will yield a nice amount of dense, high-quality buds. The success of Plant #1 has led me to reevaluate my approach to growing autoflowers; moving forward, I plan to incorporate topping techniques in addition to Low-Stress Training (LST) to maximize yields. Plants #2, 3, and 4 are also performing well, with dense main colas forming, although they exhibit a slight tendency to foxtail. While they haven't quite matched the canopy development of Plant #1, they are still on track to produce a respectable yield. To support continued growth and bud development, I have increased the potassium levels by adjusting the bloom nutrient dosage. Based on the current growth stage, I estimate that harvest will be ready in approximately 3-4 weeks.

Auto Bruce Banner XXL Update - 5/21/25, Day 60: All four plants have transitioned into the flowering stage. Seed #1 is performing exceptionally well, showcasing the benefits of topping and LST in promoting a more even canopy. In contrast, seeds #2, 3, and 4, which were only subjected to LST without topping, are exhibiting slightly different growth patterns, with less extension in the middle branches. However, given that we're still early in the flowering stage, there's ample time for further development. All four plants are progressing well, with crown colas forming and main colas taking shape. I've discontinued grow nutrients and am now feeding PK, silica, and calcium to support optimal flowering. Excited to see how these plants will develop and yield, particularly Seed #1.

05/12/2025 - Day 51: All four seeds have kicked into pre-flower mode and are stretchin' out. I've been tweakin' their LST to maximize light penetration and promote even growth. Had a little mishap with Seed #1 - snapped the main cola by accident, but surprisingly, it's turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The inner branches and stems are fillin' out nicely, and the canopy's lookin' more uniform than ever. Now, I'm startin' to transition from growth nutrients to flowerin' nutrients, and so far, everything's on track.

Day 40 - 5/01/26 - Auto Bruce Banner XXL Update: Plants 1 and 2 continue to demonstrate exceptional vigor, while Plants 3 and 4 are showing promising signs of recovery from their initial growth setback. As we approach the pre-flowering stage, I'm monitoring their progress closely to ensure Plants 3 and 4 can bridge the gap with their peers. With LST now implemented across all four plants, my goal is to optimize canopy structure and maximize yields. This week, I employed a thorough watering protocol using the dunking method to ensure uniform moisture distribution throughout the medium, promoting healthy root development. The water used was plain tap water, oxygenated through a 24-hour sun exposure, and supplemented with a small amount of peroxide to prevent potential root pathogens.

4/21/2025 - Update on Auto Bruce Banner XXL seeds: Seeds 1 and 2 are thriving, while seeds 3 and 4 are experiencing some stunted growth. I've initiated Low-Stress Training (LST) on seeds 1, 2, and will start it on seed 4 next week.

Day 24 - (4/15/25): Seeds 1, 2, and 3 are looking good, but Seed 4 is lagging a bit behind. I'm hoping it will catch up and still produce a decent yield. I've been using a nutrient regimen that includes Silica, Cal-Mag, and Pure Blend Pro Grow. The plants received their first dunking today, and I'm planning to start low-stress training next week to encourage healthy growth and optimize yields.

April 7, 2025 (Day 16) Seeds 1, 2, and 3 are thriving, while seed 4 is slightly behind, but I'm confident it'll catch up. The recent rainy days might have slowed its growth. I've started feeding them with a mix of Silica (1.5ml/gal), Cal-Mag (2ml/gal), and Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow (10ml/gal). Due to the rain, watering hasn't really been necessary.

Day: 4

3/27/28 - All four Auto Bruce Banner seedlings are thriving, with their first set of leaves emerging. They were introduced to outdoor sunlight for the first time today, after being brought out yesterday afternoon. To keep them happy and healthy, I'm spraying them gently with a spray bottle and providing about 50-80 ml of plain tap water with a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. Before using it, I let the tap water sit outside in the sun for a couple of days.
