Pulling a sample to see how close she’s getting. Trying to wait a little longer this year.

Added some left over coconut husk and sand to the base and kept my “watering ports” in. This was just something I tried where I pounded in some cut up umbrella poles, pounded them into the ground and shook out the dirt. When I water, I fill those tubes to get my nutes right down to the root system. I honestly don’t know how much it helps but it doesn’t hurt anything. Let me know in the comments what you think and if it’s a dumb idea. I just like trying different things and any crazy ideas I come up with.

zer0applied It’s a great idea because how many times have you gone to water with your expensive nutes only to have them run all over the place. This is incorporated into a lot of peoples grows, trust me it’s money. I do a wick system now for my indoor grows because I was tired of runoff from dry soil.

LeChron James The coconut husks…did you rinse them?

optimusprime80 Zero, thanks man, in all honesty I did not know if it was a thing or not. Just kinda came to me one day and figured I’d give it a go. I wasn’t trying to say I “invented” something at all. Just wanted to share with others!

She’s a small but mighty “bush”! Lol first ever outdoor plant from seed. She’s not gonna break any records or win any awards buts she’s mine and she came from a seed that I grew from last seasons grow. Only found about 5 seeds total out of 2 1/2 pound of dried goods.

Very stunted growth. Still such a small plant for this amount of time. Not sure what changed but I’m just gonna do my best and see how she turns out. (It is my first time growing from seed)
