Dried and trimmed 397 grams from mother and 3 small clones

Day: 150
Harvest
After careful inspection, the tricombs told me it’s time. Mama and the three clones chopped down this morning. Gave them a quick wet trim and into the tent to dry. Hope the effects as good as they smell. So far very happy with the result.

Plants are fading, but also noticing some deficiencies. PH pen was out of calibration by 4.0. That’s just laziness on my part. Calibrate people, calibrate.

I never grown the strain before, but these are some of the fattest, hardest buds I’ve ever grown. I’m not sure if it’s a strain or the CO2. Still have three weeks to go.

According to Barney’s Farm, three weeks to go approximately. Of course the trichomes will tell for sure.

Flowering
Today I introduced (Solacure)UVA+B for 20 minutes a day to start until the end of flower. I’m gonna have to rotate the plants a quarter turn each day so they get some even distribution as I have to hang this above my bar light. It’s no big deal because I hand water daily anyway.

Day: 130
Flowering
Having used CO2 for the first time in five years of growing, there’s definitely a value regardless of light intensity. My par is about 1000 at the top of the canopy but still have never seen buds this fat the stage in the game. Still have four weeks to go.

It’s amazing how much you can get from just one seed. Strange to see the mother plant the different color, green and the clones but I’m assuming because it’s a much bigger plant that may be not satisfying its nutritional needs even though I’m giving it at least with the manufacturer recommends. May be a bit more.

Day: 112
Flowering
Introduced to CO2 yesterday just for fun as I’ve heard it can do wonderful things regardless of your par intensity. I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but when I opened my tent this morning, I couldn’t believe how perky my plants looked.

ZaddyXL Really?! It’s funny I was just thinking about trying these bags out. I’ll follow and see how your girls do
Tonyd133 For sure. They are all “praying” to the light like never before. I thought I’d try it after I saw a short interview on Migro’s YouTube channel with Dr. Bruce Bugbee, the owner of Apogee instruments. He’s also a Professor at Utah State. He’s a plant scientist (forget what they are called). I always thought that CO2 was only useful once you were well over 1000 par. He states that while that is true, you can see 20-30% in yield as well as quality with CO2 regardless of par. For $40 Canadian, minor risk.
ZaddyXL Hell yeah that’s easy, and it lasts how long about 3 months?

Coming along nicely. The clones have slightly larger buds sites already, I’m assuming that’s because the mother plant has many more to nourish.

Mama was looking a little hungry. Since dry amendments take some time to break down, bumped up the feeding schedule. Top dressed about 8 days early.

trichome_kid What is your issue?
trichome_kid So did you root the clones before you put them In the soil?
Tonyd133 Yeah, I rooted them in rockwool cubes in a humidity dome. Took about 10 days and they were looking good. And I transferred them into the Coco and they got really yellow and just don’t look like they’re doing much. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. My first time trying clones. I watched a YouTube video on it. Not sure if I have my pH right for this.

Well, it’s water day today. Potted the clones. Tucked in all nice and cosy next to mama . If they survive, going to give them a few weeks, move them into a 3 gal pot. Couple of weeks after that, likely going to flip the whole works to 12/12.

Experiment going nicely. Been vegging for a while, but as I mentioned before, I ran into some pretty significant deficiencies early, which set me back a couple of weeks. Looking very healthy now. Hard to believe the stalk is bent almost 90°. As you can see, I have two sensors in my tent. I started doing this a couple years ago when I was burned by a bad one so now I keep two in there and they’re extremely close to one another or bang on. This is comforting to know that it’s accurate. When they are way off, generally, the one that takes the batteries needs a battery replacement and then it’s back to normal. This issue happened a long time ago before I had the AC Infinity sensor in there.

Day: 56
Vegetating
Transplanted from 2 to 5 gal pot. Experiment going well. Tied down almost 90°, side branches tied as well, no topping. Lots potential bud sites and even canopy. Like I said, before, had a bit of a setback at the seedling stage, should be much bigger for this age, but it did recover, and it’s quite healthy. the veg continues…

After a rough start, she back on track. Magnesium deficiency set me back a few weeks but the experiment is working well. Bent over almost 90°, as opposed to topping, lots of new shoots showing promise.

Slight deformities. These things usually work themselves out. I like to keep 2 temp/rh sensors together in the tent. With a single, you can never be sure.

Day: 5
Vegetating
Well, I moved her into the tent yesterday. Took two of the light bars off my light and dropped it down to 25%. That means it’s putting out about 70 watts. My meter reads 300 PPFD at seedling height. I could’ve dropped down to one bar but I was lazy. It’s really nice having the ability to run anywhere from 1 to 5 bars with this light. And throw in the dimmer, the versatility this light offers is hard to beat in my opinion. . It’s suitable for one to four plants.
