Somango xxl clone
Took clones off of original plant this is the only one that survived. The strain is somango xxl from nirvana seeds. Has an awesome fruity smell with a very very mild skunky smell. I grew the last one inside and the smell didn’t scream “weed” has a nice cerebral high and mild body high. Hits kinda like a sativa, but very calming with no anxiety. I really like this strain so far! This will be my second grow with this strain

Had a couple buds start to rot due to the damage from hail stones hitting them, cut those stems off and buds are starting to fatten up nicely

Bassman Nice. How tall is it?
Metalriot Thank you! It’s a little more than 12” this is the second time I’ve grown this strain it stays pretty short. I’ve also low stress trained the hell out of it. This stuff is a pretty nice strain. It’s “somango xxl” from nirvana. Kinda has a sativa like but relaxing high. The smell is amazing as well

Starting to throw white pistils and tricomes everywhere

Metalriot I started her inside under 300 watt leds, moved her outside and have been covering her in the late evening to force flowering. It’s worked because she is popping more white pistils every day now
Metalriot This week I switched from fox farm open sesame to beastie blooms. I’ve also been using tiger bloom, big bloom and cal mag as well. Will switch to ff cha-Ching towards the end of flower

neek247 what is this method you are doing with the branches, sorry Im new to growing lol
Metalriot It’s called low stress training. Basically you use the pipe cleaners to hold the branches out so the plant grows wider than tall, this also helps spread the vegetation out so air and light can get through. Some people take this to the extreme and make a little bonsai out of them. Give this method a shot it’s fun and promotes great results

Gave her another good trim. Mostly lollipoped her , took one set of fan leaves off the top to let more light through topped and fimmed her in a few places. Also tried cloning some of the lower cuttings, they may be too small though we will see

Metalriot I think these brown spots were calcium deficiency, since I’ve added cal-mag to the regimen I haven’t seen any new ones. Plus plant just looks so much healthier with cal-mag!

Pulled cutting 60 days ago planted in 5 gallon pot yesterday. Watered with 2 solo cups of nute mix. 1ml of grow big and 1ml of big bloom in a gallon to start. Potting soil with a whole bag of perlite and worm castings

Metalriot Started with fox farm grow big right away. Plant responded awesome. I was using epsom salt for a while but my last 2 grows I got rusty looking spots on the leaves. Dropped the epsom salt and switched to cal-mag and my plant has never looked so healthy! I also throw it some black strap molasses every now and then
