No water today as she’s measuring between moist and wet. I will start the 2-week flush on the next water as her deadline is in 2 weeks. Need to get these finished up so the autos can go in.

Day: 101

Flower

No water. Still heavy and measuring wet. 💦 The amount of cat hair…🫣🤭 Admittedly, I cut a small bit of her last night and did a “quick ‘n’ dirty” dry. Despite it being a green smoke, it wasn’t too shabby. Once it kicked in, it was a pretty pleasant night’s sleep.

HIGRO91 How’s dem 🍎

HashGirl

HashGirl LOL! She’s perfect really. I don’t have one complaint about her. The stone from the sample was light, airy and relaxing. I am curious how the final product will compare.

Hashboy gave these a thorough flush two days in a row using bottled water. New PH pen arrived. After calibrating the new pen, we learned that the old one was 0.7 out, which means my ph was always too low. 😞 He’s mixed up new feed at 6.4.

No water. Touched the flowers accidentally. She was sticky and fruity.

pysco74

pysco74 It don’t hurt to touch the flowers a little bit if that’s why you added the accident part. In fact your gonna have to touch em a bit to get in their and defoliate some of those leaves so the inner buds can breath more and get more light. ✌️

HashGirl

HashGirl I moved some of the branches around a little bit to pull them down further. I will clip some of the leaves tomorrow and leave her for the week then reassess. 🍃 I was worried that I would clip too many and interrupt her. She’s due a feed tomorrow morning anyway.

pysco74

pysco74 You have to remove quuuuuite a good bit for it to really interrupt anything. Matter of fact there is even a method called schazzing where almost every single leaf is clipped off at the start of flower and again on day 20 of flower except for the tiniest of the new growth. So you’d be surprised just how much they can take without hurting them. No need to be nervous! Plants are looking great btw! Only other suggestions I’d give you to mull over is possibly upping your nutes a little bit they are looking just a little bit low on something.

jschoenhaar Im hoping my Apple will look this good

HashGirl

HashGirl She’s been a very easy one to grow. Have had zero problems with her. ❤️

jschoenhaar

jschoenhaar I hope. Mine was a bit late to pop and I don’t have any experience with this strain. My bubblegum was planted at the same time and coming in better, but some girls need time to shine

Average Ph: 5.9. 500ml water, no feed. I’m proud of her! She’s starting to show her furries on the lead up to budding (picture 6). I was worried as she was so small… ♥️

Day: 65

1.5 litres until run off started flowing. Ph 6.27.

Day: 64

400ml feed/water. Trimmed a couple of leaves. As she’s so squat, there’s not really anything to tie down. The main stem is already horizontal, but the branches don’t seem to be in a hurry. 🤭

200ml feed/water and foliar spray of magnesium. Trimmed some of the older leaves off to help bring light to the middle of the plant.

Day: 60

Tied down a few more of her branches. No water as she’s still slightly damp. So bushy and unkempt. 😆 I don’t think I’ll trim anymore on her and let her grow naturally - something is better than nothing.

Day: 59

She needs tying down again, very bushy. No water or feed today because she’s damp.

Day: 59

Have decided to move over to 12:12 now. I don’t think these grows are going well and their growth is stunted. I have learned a few lessons here and will be switching over to self watering bases and a different planting medium. I fully expect Cherry Pie to perish during the transition, but I can always buy more Cherry Pie seeds. 🤞

Day: 33

Topped up humidifier and gave a very light feed. Sprayed with calmag while lights were out. Tomorrow will be a heavier feed. Have pre-made the mix - bio grow: 2ml/litre, calmag: 1ml/litre, activera: 2ml/litre, bioheaven: 2ml/litre. I did some research on Apple Fritter as I was concerned that her progress isn’t matching Sugar’s. However, I am reassured to know that Apple is a small-ish plant to begin with.

Day: 26

Increased the light to 60% last night and moved the sensors around as well as calibrated to a temperature and humidity clock. Seems it has helped as there was a noticeable change in plant appearance. Could also have been the calmag. I gave a light feed/water around and away from the plant to ensure it was damp, but not too damp as soil was somewhat dry.

Day: 24

Refilled humidifier. Will water with calmag this evening. Added additional extractor fan to tent.

Day: 24

Fed nutrients. Forgot to add calmag. Will add tomorrow, if needed. Provided activera.

Day: 23

Trimmed off lower damaged leaves from the water burn. Fed 2ml/litre bioheaven and 1ml/litre bio grow. Have ordered calmag, activera and Ph +/-. That should help get the Ph spot on.

Day: 22

Gave some plain water and pointed fan away from plant. Suspect it’s getting a little leaf burn.

Day: 21

Light feed/water today. Had a really high heat spike yesterday. Hopefully, it didn’t cause too much stress. Waiting for intake fan to arrive to provide more cool air.

.

. Plants in veg don’t typically react negatively to high temps and they in fact like it, especially if you add co2

HashGirl

HashGirl Thank you for this. Was worried because I’m the morning was really sunny and warm out. The shed that holds my tent got too warm! 🥹 They don’t look too wilty today. 🤞

.

. Consider getting a co2 bag just for the added boost and since you monitor vpd just make sure the rh is high enough to match up on the charts.

nyqon

nyqon Don’t ever spray food on top of them. There’s a risk in the droplets acting like a loop so your lamp literally burns your leaves. You should spray from bottom so the other side of the leaves. Good luck🫡

HashGirl

HashGirl Thank you! I was told this at the beginning too. I only spray at the base of the stem. 😍🥰

HashGirl

combatmedic81 When you going to transplant out of the small container

HashGirl

HashGirl The small container is actually bottomless. 🤭 Its only purpose was to provide a slightly raised bed for the seedling stage.

combatmedic81

combatmedic81 I just don’t understand the point of it? Why not just put the seeds w/ tap root about two knuckles deep into the soil? Everyone to their own though

PrincessBundtCake

PrincessBundtCake I realised early on that the pots were getting too dry too quickly. I started using a spray bottle to keep the yogurt pots moist and put a sandwich bag over it. Seems to have helped retain the moisture in the pots (which have had the bottoms cut out to allow root growth). The yogurt pots were only used to help keep track of where I planted the seed.
