I have been lacking on the updates because there is so much maintenance that goes into 2 tents 9 plant both on high frequency fertigation and draining the saucers by hand with a 100 ml syringe. I didn’t think this through very much when starting I thought of everything to maximize space/cost/yeild/potency/conditions but I did not account for the time I would need to spend on this every day. Then add taking pictures and documenting it every day on top of pheno hunting 5 seeds and keeping track of that. It’s a lot. Next investment is going to be an auto watering system and auto draining saucers for sure. White widow is starting to form sugar leafs which I believe means it is done stretching which is fucked because half the plant is below the trellis net. Runtz is absolutely gigantic and I took a clone of it to flower by its self at the bottom as sort of a nurture vs nature experiment. It gets less light and drys out much quicker than the big plant so I’m interested to see how that will impact the smoke.

Starting to get a slightly weedy sweet smell from the Runtz. One week into flower and white widow doesn’t seem to be stretching very much which makes me wonder if it has some sort of mutation that makes it stack nodes really close to eachother or it might even have curly top beet virus which would cause curly leaves on the top which could be stunting growth. I’m not sure and either way I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it so I’m just going to ride it out and do a heavy defoliation once we’re out of stretching. Switched lights to 100% and sitting at the top of the tent. PPFD @ 580 | DLI @ 26 | Fed bolt early flower @ 1.150 EC and 6.0 PH | RTZ - 1.5 Gal/Day | WW - 1 Gal/Day | Z - .5 Gal/Day (for adequate run off)

Day 1 or flower the tent is looking nice and full and the day after flipping to 12/12 I see pistil hairs???? Crazy I thought it would take at least a week or two wtf. But I do notice a slightly sweeter note to the cuttings of the defoliated leaves maybe I’m tripping but it smells so good not like skunk but a fruity sweet it’s definitely interesting for being pretty much day 1. Fed 1.15 EC 6.0 PH

These girls have turned into bushes I want to do a defoliation to avoid pests but I’ve put so much stress on them over the past couple weeks that I don’t want to stunt their growth any more as I’m planning to flip at the end of next month I’ll hold off for another week or two then defoliate. Both of these girls are growing surprisingly short on their own making lst kinda hard basically I dont have enough internodal distance to make a good spread to get light to all the growth sites but I’m not complaining by any means the shorter the better that just means I can veg for longer and get a bigger plant‼️🗣️ fed 1.2 EC at 5.7 PH coco for cannabis post day 21 solution

The girls are growing fast! Runtz it’s starting to develop some brown spots where their leaves are rubbing against eachother. I don’t think it’s pests because it’s localized to those spots were they are rubbing together but I am going to keep an eye on it and do an alternating IPM spray of peppermint oil and neem oil every weekend right before lights off. Both of their stems are thickening up nicely after some minor low stress training, the branches are getting pretty long so k decided it’s the perfect time to start folding upper branches under lower branches to get more light exposure to the under canopy. I also topped both plants 2 nights ago and the new main stems are starting to pick up in growth. I was going to do a light defoliation this weekend but I’m going to wait until next weekend to avoid stressing out the girls too much. Fed both a quart of 1.3 EC 6.1 PH Humidity 70% temp 77F

The girls are coming along strong I am planning on doing a perpetual harvest so I am stopping low stress training and doing one top per plant then continuing LST after she’s healed up. Fed 2 times EC 1.3 PH 6.0 I also raised the lights to 400 PPFD

I started some LST early this morning and 14 hours later they are upright again what a miracle I am so overwhelmed by the beauty of these plants. Going to switch to full strength veg nutes in a couple days I am working up to it todays feeding 1 quart each of .95 EC seedling starting solution at 6.2 PH

Started watering every day until run off with 825 ppm seedling starting fluid recipe by coco cannabis white widow is still showing signs of deficiency, substituting 1 watering per day of cal mag solution and a foiliar spray before lights off. Runtz is also showing some deficiencies as the is a brown burn spot but it’s the o thing that is really wrong other than very mild twisting of the first nodes leafs so I have been giving cal mag watering and foliar to her aswell

White widow is still growing and there seems to be a little stunt in growth but nothing crazy and its condition is not worsening so I think she’ll pull through if I wait another 5-6 days before watering. Runtz is growing like crazy just check yesterdays pics

White widows tips are burning she is still in the corner and is still growing but has some serious downward curling and I’m scared she’s gonna die I’m going to be keeping a close eye on her. Runtz on the other hand is THRIVING and looks so heathland and prays every single day about an hour after lights on, the light green in the middle of the sprout has turned a good rich green again which i am very please with. They are growing pretty damn good, I gave up xans a while ago but I think I’ve found my new addiction I’m already planning a 4 tent set up for perpetual growing/breeding and phenohunting it’s going to be fun as fuck!

White widow has leaves curling downward while Runtz is praying towards the light I know it’s not any issue with nutrients or over/underwatering I’ve been very meticulous in checking ph and ppm both in and out of the growing medium, so I think it’s getting too much light. I move the pot to the corner of the room for now to see if that helps. White widow: was 305 PPFD - now 255. Runtz: 310 PPFD. I also picked up my pots today to see if they need watering and white widows pot was extremely light so I gave her about 1 liter of water around the outside of the pot to encourage root growth. Runtz pot was still a little heavy so I’m going to hold off another couple days.

I decided to do a full watering and feeding today on the Runtz. I did flora gro, micro, bloom and cal mag at about 1.5 ml each into half a gallon. Measured out to 260 ppm and PH to 5.8. I got some drainage saucers and stands so the plants don’t soak in the juice. Overall looking nice and white widow is starting to pop up.

Since the new White Widow seed was ready to be planted I decided that it’d be a good time to transplant Runtz and make up my soil. The CoCo Coir brick that I got was only supposed to fill 10 gallons and some change plus I’m adding perlite so it would increase the volume by at least 20% - 30% so I only used 3/4 of the brick and after adding the perlite I ended up with enough substrate to fill up at least 5 5 gallon buckets and the perlite looks a little lighter than pictures I’ve seen so I think I may have miscalculated the dry to wet ratio based on the dry weight. Either way I’m happy that my second seed sprouted and is ready to pop up. When planting the Runtz I buried it a bit more than when it was in the seed starter tray to reduce a bit of the stretching that was occurring. Temps and humidity have been pretty stable but I forgot to fill the humidifier last night so it was almost dry when I woke up luckily I check on the plants first thing after I get ready and was able to fill it up before the humidity dropped. I am going to wait until Runtz gets its first true leaves and then start lowering the humidity do I can avoid root rot and pests.

White widow seed failed to germinate. I put another one in a wet paper towel which is tried and true. Runtz is stretching to the moon or ig the sun but either way I raise my PAR levels to 260 PPFD to try and compensate, the little fucker stretched so much I had to take the lid off of the humidity dome but luckily I have found a way to keep temps and humidity both in check while having good air exchange with the in-line and oscillating fan and no master hub. I’m pretty proud. Temps have been kind of rocky due to trying to find the balance and getting a new thermostat so the ac was off for a while(the new thermostat was tweaking hard) but overall I’m very pleased with where we are at I am going to plant the new white widow in a couple days when it’s done germinating and still put it into flower with the Runtz in about 2 months.

Runtz finally popped but has its seed shell covering all of its first leafs, to prevent stretching I assisted in the removal of the shell. White widows soil looks extremely wet and may be the cause of not popping yet if it isn’t popped by day 7 I will dig in to see what’s going on and replace soil if necessary.
