Cjh807 Should be enough light to cover a 4 x 4 canopy now!! So I don’t have any room for another tent to put the autos in so I’m going to have to harvest them early when the other 2 kush choke them out of light or I can put them outside if it ever decides to warm up here wtf!

Day: 56

4-11-18 Wednesday More training on the fems Just letting the autos grow budz Anyone know when I should flip to flower and how much more growth I’ll get from the 2 not in flower

Cjh807 Let’s see how they look in 24 hours

gabedn

gabedn Aha spoke too soon. Looks great! I was looking at those same sized bags too, excited to see how they fill in

Cjh807 Yeah me too! I hope man. I’m gonna post another pic tonight showing 24 hours after transplant.

Day: 45

Plants are root bound! And need to be transplanted weeks ago. Lesson learned!

gabedn

gabedn Good catch. I heard fabric pots eliminate the need to transplant via air pruning. I haven’t tried it yet though 💁🏻‍♂️

Cjh807 That’s exactly what I used!

Cjh807 Well plastic 1 gallon there but I transferred them into the smart pot style 7 gallon

Okay so I dropped my lights from 24” down to about 12” I’m trying to figure out if my 2 300watt led lights are not strong enough and why they are growing so slow! Ahh help please the autos are already flowering and they seem so so small! Wtf am I doing wrong?

gabedn

gabedn Not sure, maybe it’s a mix of factors like overwatering, heat stress, not getting some nutrients etc. I haven’t messed w autos tho.

gabedn

gabedn There are now led kits you can buy for the same price as your mars that are 1000x better for the price. Look into HLG quantum board kits, they just came out late last year. I’m using the 300 kit right now.

Cjh807 I was wondering about switching or adding a 2x4 T5 HO fixture in there but now I’m not sure what the problem is.... do you think they are behind on growth for 6 weeks from seed? The stems are thick and look super healthy I can get better pics with the leds off later but i want to figure this out

Day: 24

Coming back from over watering but growth is slow... :-( doing some research any comments or help is appreciated

Cjh807 Also noticed that the soil settled and the rapid rooter plugs are showing and drying out and I feel like it chokes out the stem?! I feel like I should add some soil so they are covered and may help keep them from drying out...

gabedn

gabedn Looks decent. Adding some extra soil ontop will help because as it get bigger it will probably have a few roots poking out, not a huge deal tho. Your soil is nutrient enriched already right?

Cjh807 Yeah it’s the fox farm version of seed starting soil can’t remember the name but my local hydroponic shop recommends it. I want to LST these girls but they are not reaching at all short and bushy full of new growth but not sure why no bight yet.

Day: 12

All 4 plants are going through a tough time with a combo of high heat and humidity plus my new water filtration system seems to remove everything even the good calcium so I have stopped water until they start to show me they are thirsty and going to feed them some weak nutrients and add cal mag to the next feeding. Hope this brings them back quickly. Any help would be appreciated!

Rydikule Is this your first grow? If so you may be overwatering. Take the open bottles of water out of the tent to decrease humidity. I dont feed them for 3 days, and it’s my first grow. Good rule of thumb is to always use less.

Cjh807 Yeah it is my first indoor grow. I ended up giving them time and ventilation to use up the water I removed the water bottles. Gave it a good feeding of flora at full dose and they are coming back nicely! Just lost about a week and a half in veg.

Day: 11

Looks like they were thirsty good spurt up overnight! Noted!

Day: 7

Covered seedlings with plastic water bottle and seems to help control humidity well.

Cjh807 Started seeds in rapid rooter plugs for 3 days then planted in 1 gal pots with Foxfarm’s light worrier and placed in tent with 18 / 6 light cycle. Had trouble bringing the humidity up in the tent so I cut water bottles in half and covered the seedlings. This seems to help keep the humidity higher around the plant and have it a good jumpstart. Watered with 6.0 ph filtered water.
