Going on another week long work trip. I decided to top dress with a little bit of worm castings and then water them. I have someone that can check on them during the week but I don’t think they will need to be watered again soon.

One is doing way better than the other, I haven’t watered for a week. I am going to water with calmag tomorrow since I am going in another week long work trip. Next week I may start to spray with colloidal silver in order to turn male.

I was gone since Sunday due to a work trip and just got back, they grew a lot since the last update which is great!! Anyone know why they are very light green?

SwiftGenetics Do you think top dressing with worm castings would do the trick or would it take too long? I have Fox Farms Ocean Forest so I don’t want to over feed with bottle nutes.
OP@angiesgarden At this stage I probably wouldn’t do anything. Let it get a bit bigger and see what it starts to look like. Then adjust.

I just watered them because they were really dry, the first seedling is doing very well. The second one seems to be falling behind a little. Is this normal growth for day 8? Because I feel they are small compared to other photos I’ve seen.

I changed the light to 100% power at ~20’ and they are doing very well. I also added a bag of CO2 I bought from Amazon let’s see how it goes. Thank you LeChron James for the tip on maxing my light!

I was wondering if they would be fine if I kept the cups off of them for the day so they can get more light. Or if the lowered humidity would do more harm?

LeChron James Could you leave the cups on and move them closer to the light?
SwiftGenetics Should I move the light or turn up the intensity? It is at about 40% right now.
SwiftGenetics I moved the light down so it’s 24” above the seedlings, increased light to 50% and placed the cups back on after misting.

The girls are doing great, I added some Starbucks cups I had laying around to help keep humidity up, I also turned up the light to 60%. The light is ~2’ away.

Anyone know why my seedlings are curling so much? I have cups over them for humidity. The temp and humidity reading is from the middle of the tent.

SwiftGenetics I also turned down my light intensity to 45% from 60%.

The first seed that popped looks like it is having trouble coming out, the second one is looking a lot better. I sprayed with more cal-mag water hoping to keep humidity up.

LeChron James You can, with a sterilized tool, gently orient the seed on top of the soil and oh so gently point the taproot downward. I do it all the time. Just be gentle. You don’t want the taproot to dry out, so getting a bit of it beneath the soil surface is a good idea

First of 2 seeds has popped its tap root. I planted it in a 3 gal pot with Fox Farms Ocean Forest and 1 inch of coco and perlite. Hopefully the second seed pops soon.
