Critical Auto XXL - Day 74 - 6/04/2025: Not much to report this week, both plant#1 and plant#2 are in their flowering stage. Plant#1 is growing nicely still in its early stages of flowering so still has alot of development to be grown for its main cola and secondary colas growing thanks to the LST. Plant#2 is also growing a beautiful canopy, it’s accidental topping resulted in a benefit. Also has alot of developing to be done since its still at its early stages of flowering. I have to say I am impressed on how both pulled through and how well they grown, I honestly thought they were going to be smaller, they’re not huge but a decent size to yield a nice harvest with good dense colas. The smell ain’t there yet but you can start to smell its terpenes. I started spraying Lost Coast Plant Therapy in the afternoons to prevent any pest infestation since I seen a few white flies flying around and want to avoid getting an infestation, also helps to see if the product really doesn’t affect the taste and terpenes of the buds as they claimed it doesn’t.

Day: 66

Critical Auto XXL Update - 5/27/2025 - Day 66: As we enter the second week of flowering, Plants #1 and #2 are exhibiting robust growth and development. The canopy is forming evenly, with nice crowns at the colas and well-structured buds. Based on the current progress, I anticipate a respectable yield of high-quality, dense buds. To support continued flower development, I have adjusted the nutrient regimen by increasing the bloom nutrient dosage, which has boosted potassium and phosphorus intake. Given the current growth stage, I estimate that harvest will be ready in approximately 4-6 weeks. Notably, the plants are now emitting a distinct earthy, Kush-like aroma, indicative of their terpene profile development.

Day: 60

Critical XXL Auto Update - 5/21/25, Day 60: Both plants are progressing well, entering their second week of pre-flowering. They've made significant strides since the initial growth phase, which was marked by stunted growth and leaf irregularities. Notably, Seed #2's unintentional topping has resulted in enhanced middle branch and stem development, highlighting the benefits of this technique. Both plants are now exhibiting visible signs of female pistil and crown formation. Ongoing LST adjustments are being made to optimize plant structure. Nutrient feeding has been adjusted to support flowering, with a significant reduction in nitrogen and a corresponding increase in potassium and phosphorus. This was achieved by blending reduced grow nutrients with increased flower nutrients. The flowering stage is off to a promising start, and I'll continue to monitor and adapt as necessary.

Day: 51

Critical XXL Auto Update - 05/12/2025 - Day 51: I'm thrilled to see both phenos bounce back from those funky leaves and stunted growth - resilience is key in this game! While they didn't quite reach the heights I was anticipating, I'm pleased with their overall development. Now that they've entered the pre-flower stage, it's time to see how they'll stretch out in their final push. On a separate note for Seed #2, breaking the main cola during LST adjustments seems to have had an unexpected benefit - the mid-stem growth is looking solid. Still on a growth-heavy nutrient feed, but I'll start introducing more flowering nutrients next week to support their transition. Time to dial in the feeding schedule and let these ladies shine!

Day: 40

Day 40 - 05/01/2025 - Critical XXL Auto Update: Plants 1 and 2 are exhibiting signs of recovery from their initial growth anomalies, with new growth and leaf morphology appearing normalized. As we remain in the vegetative stage, my objective is to promote robust vegetative growth prior to the pre-flowering stage, allowing for optimal size and structure. To enhance canopy development and potentially increase yields, I implemented Low-Stress Training (LST) on both plants, despite initial reservations due to their stunted growth. Additionally, I utilized a thorough watering protocol this week, employing the dunking method to ensure uniform moisture distribution throughout the medium. The water used was plain tap water, oxygenated through 24-hour sun exposure, and supplemented with a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to maintain a healthy root environment.

Day: 30

4/21/25 - Update on Critical Auto XXL seeds: Both seeds 1 and 2 are experiencing stunted growth, but I'll let them continue growing and provide optimal care to see how they develop. Might as well try Low-Stress Training (LST) next week and see what happens.

Day: 24

Day 24 (4/15/25) - I'm observing some variation in growth between Seed 1 and Seed 2, with Seed 2 growing slightly more vigorously. However, both plants are developing unusual leaves and growth patterns, which I'm not sure how to attribute - it might be a characteristic of the strain or potentially an issue with my care. As a precaution, I've been using potassium soap and neem oil for pest control, although I suspect micron mites might not be the culprit given the healthy growth of the four nearby plants. My nutrient regimen includes Silica, Cal-Mag, and Pure Blend Pro Grow, and the plants received their first dunking today. I'm still undecided about implementing low-stress training, but I'll consider it if it seems to promote better growth.

Day: 16

April 7, 2025 (Day 16) Seeds 1 and 2 are slightly behind due to the recent rainy days, but I'm confident they'll recover. Unfortunately, seeds 3 and 4 didn't survive. I've started feeding the remaining seeds with a mix of Silica (1.5ml/gal), Cal-Mag (2ml/gal), and Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow (10ml/gal). The rainy days have reduced the need for watering so far.

Day: 4

3/27/25 - Critical Auto seeds 1 and 2 are thriving. Their first set of leaves has emerged, and they're enjoying their first days of outdoor sunlight, starting with a gentle introduction yesterday afternoon. To keep them healthy and happy, I'm misting them with a spray bottle, giving them 50-80 ml of tap water infused with a touch of hydrogen peroxide. I pre-treat the water by letting it sit in sunlight for a couple of days. Seeds 3 and 4, unfortunately, didn't make it.

3/24/25 - Seedling 1 & 2 have broken through the medium and showing their cotyledons. Seeds 3 there is a 50% chance of survival and seed 4 I doubt it will make it through. These were the seedlings that sprouted weak taproots.
