2023 Outdoor run. 2nd time growing outdoors but last year was more of a learning experience. Assortment of strains, some in my greenhouse and some out in bagpots. Plus one in the ground.

As beautiful as she is, im finding a lot of mold and rot. I think its just safe to call the outdoor season a flop. Next year will be starting early and with strains i know will finish in time.

Tallboy2023 Tough outdoor season, at least up north. I chopped down four really nice plants and threw them in the weed graveyard behind my shed 😢
piperboy007 It was indeed. Seems a lot of northern growers had late flower season.

Starting to lose some faith here. Seems every day im finding a new rotting/mold spot… still a few weeks needed for both but we got lots more rain and cold temps ( >10 degrees celcius) on the way… is it time to call it?

Still going strong. Got a couple of moldy spots on the stems, treated with mold defender. Got a plant drying but it lost its skunky smell… mustve been harvested too early 🤷♂️

LeChron James The smell thing happens. Some strains have such a strong nose while growing and then it evaporates into thin air while drying. Others have a mild nose while alive but end up with amazing flavor.
piperboy007 Yeah ive kinda noticed that. I do think i harvested too early too. But it was that or mold from the rains

Remaining outdoor gals. Chopped girlfriend’s plant a couple days back. It was a lil early but its that or mold from this week’s upcoming rains. Lost a top cola of the BNL to some mold. Started on the stem and worked up, curling the leaves inwards. Chopped sick branch off and sprrayed area with safer’s mold defender

Whoever said Mites maybe right. Seems to be tiny little green/white grains on the undersides of the leaves. Lots of dying foliage in the lower 1/3 of plant. Any suggestions to get rid of it or is it too late?

Hard week over here on the WC. Lots of rain and heavy winds. Lost my auto to WPM, some bud rot on my girl’s plant as well as she almost got taken out of the ground during the storm. Plants under shelter are trooping through. Can see a big difference from just having the protection from the rains. Hoping for a good croptober

First 2 photos are the Wedding Cake auto from GPS that i pollinated with Magnum Auto pollen. Nice seeds sacs forming, this whole plant will be used for seed stock. 3rd is of my girl’s plant and a lil homie chillin on it

Magnum auto has been battling mildew for a couple weeks now while the rest of the flock hasnt had much. Using safers mildew defender and will probably bud wash this plant at harvest

Sad day in the garden. Had to chop Big Bertha down as she was quite visible from the nearby highway and i dont wanna get in trouble. Measured just over 8ft tall on the tallest branch. Crazy to watch this beauty grow. Now to giver her place to a much smaller gal who needs an up potting before flowering time which should be in the next couple weeks

piperboy007 I already had super cropped her a few times. It was the matter that the whole body of the plant was visible not just the tops due to me cutting down a tree on the corner of the property that would normally block it. Either way i dont think she was gunna flower in time just had a cool time watching her take off

zer0applied So I grew the Royal cookies and blue northern etc before and I don’t see any flowering activity. Have your days dropped below 13/14 hours of daylight?
piperboy007 I think we are getting there. On the west coast Canada
zer0applied Yeah I just looked you’re at the tip of 14 hours. As soon as another 40-50 minutes drop off that they’ll bud fast. I know the science changes etc (opinions, studies etc) but that was what I just recently read.
