charliesheen Way too wet brotha, smothering the roots and this young they need all the air they can get, water less like a lot less and don’t get any on the leaves they’ll burn because of the light keep the leaves dry, dont fertilize any time soon, and use less water, grab a toothpick and shove it down the cup like 1/2 an inch and pull it out, if it’s wet, the plant is too wet that young you only need to water the surface
bfurno They aren't drowned with water. They get a 6 sprays a day and that's it. They're in an enclosed space that gets a lot of heat and they tend to dry out more. My cousin grows them each year with success and has told us exactly what to do. Thanks for the concern, but each plant has been growing great each day.

Germination after 3 days
charliesheen Waited too long, isn’t a bad thing per say just stunts the growth because now the only root they have has drowned, it’ll grow slow but give it time it’ll be as big as the next one
charliesheen For the future, just drop the seed into a cup, letting it float, if it hasn’t sunk in 24 hours give it another 24 then shove in soil, but should be swelled and cracked in 24 hours, once you see the crack in the seed plant that thang or you will drown it
bfurno Thanks for the concern, but the one you see that has grown long is the one that's currently growing at a faster rate than all the others.

Germination after 1.5 days

charliesheen I commented on your 3 day germ post, this picture here is when you need to pop them in the ground, the point of the taproot down and leave it you don’t even have to cover it like people say I do it all the time the root will grow down as long as the tip of the taproot is in the ground
