Ethos Experiment
When I first ordered my equipment I was very ignorant. And I paid for it in the end. One of those purchases was both of there quoted 5000w lights that are definitely not the case. I quickly upgraded to spiderfarmer. I did get some decent foliage in veg before said spiderfarmer was delivered. So I made a ghetto hydro system out of old parts. And am gonna see how these lights play out from beginning to end.

Day: 14
Nothing spectacular happening🙄. I upgraded ⬆️the reservoir from a large pretzel 🥨 container that was see through which from recent education 📝 I have found that roots 🙅🏻♂️ do not like light 💡 . So we now have a solid reservoir that was used to store mushrooms 🍄 (the safe kind) at a local pizza 🍕 shop. Creativity is key 🤓. This is my first run 🏃♂️ with ethos which is a breeder 👨🏻🌾 I have been looking at. Probably not the best way to get end results🤷🏻♂️. But I got a couple more freebies to play around with😅. She’s got her second set of fan leaves 🍃. And has some decent root growth going at the moment.

mystrain420 _@eaegifts If I can I’d suggest a black bucket and top. White top will still let in light. The light won’t kill roots but will help the growth of algae and other non useful things that lead to rot eventually

grindhard508 Ya learn something new everyday. Thanks for the input. I’ll definitely look into swapping tops. I usually use a hydro guard to promote healthy biology on the rez. But I’m not even PH’ing the water. Just a wing it kinda situation. If it beats my solo cup grows. I’ll be pleased.

She is above the ground. Has already her first set of fan leaves. Actually gaining optimism with this little side grow I’m working on.

Setting up a closet grow from old equipment. There is no brand on the lights. They have the pinkish purple blue lighting. Fingers crossed we see some results
