Been curing for 4 days after drying at 60/60ish...first real haul from the Blue Microverse came in at 62 grams dried and it’s super dense, super sticky, and smells like absolute 🔥🔥🔥 happy with the results, but I’m gonna take what I learned and hope every grow gets better and better! Just popped a Mephisto Double Grape, and a Mephisto Creme de la Chem so we will see how it goes for round 2 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Ethos Cookies looking tasty! Beautiful purple hints here and there I think I’m close to harvest? The top cola is completely cloudy with signs of a few amber trichomes sprinkled throughout. I feel like I could cut the top cola now, but I’m afraid I’ll shock it if I do...thoughts?

D B I’ve heard of people cutting the tops that are done and letting the lowers finish longer 100% you can do that. Some people would argue they would rather move a whole plant into the flower spot instead of waiting on the lowers to finish. Like time is money mentality but if it’s just your personal grow go for it.

This Night Owl Blue Microverse F5 has been slow so far, but the last couple days it has picked up the pace! Any advice for an incompetent new grower on how to LST a plant as bushy as this one with pistils and bud sites EVERYWHERE??! Or just let a plant like this grow naturally? Any advice would be appreciated!! Day 40 since sprout, day 14 of flower.

greenbuds I started my LST last night . Check out my before and after post in just one night . I would say the girls know how to chase light and they want it bad! Definitely genetics plays a big role . I’m noticing our plants are short stunned growth you think?
Growjay Simpson I was thinking maybe it was stunted at first but then looked up the Blue Microverse strain and it’s supposedly a very short plant! I’m definitely happy about the multitude of future bud sites, but the insane amount of pistils everywhere makes me nervous to start putting my tie-wires all over to train it! Maybe I’ll just be patient and see if it starts to stretch? Definitely new grower problems not knowing exactly what to do lol

Like a moron, about 2 weeks ago, I dropped my phone onto the Ethos plant (right) and ended up absolutely SMASHING it. The phone fell from about 4 feet up after a failed attempt to catch it as it was falling out of my hand. Snapping 2 entire limbs off in the process, it was pretty heavily damaged. After a about 10 days, minimal signs of damage or stress were visible. The plant now seems healthy as ever. It’s buds are getting big, and definitely frosty with trichomes. I’m amazed by the resilience of these plants because I legitimately thought I killed it! I did some LST to still give it a chance to produce multiple colas. Night Owl Blue Microverse F5 on the left is healthy as ever it seems, just a little slow compared to this Cookies strain.

The Ethos Cookies is exploding with growth. The Night Owl Blue Microverse is a little slower but still growing strong and fast! Tent temperature averages 78 degrees F, with average leaf surface temperatures of around 76 degrees F. Average humidity stays between 58% and 63% for an average VPD measurement of 1.1 kPa. Watered an average of twice a week with water adjusted to an average of 6.5pH. What an awesome hobby 🌲🌲🌲🌲

Will water tonight. Switched to 20/4 light schedule, with an average DLI of 23.6 for the older Cookies, and 19.0 for the younger Blue Microverse. They seem to like it so far.

Growing FAST. Day 15 and day 10. Just watered the soil for the first time in 3 days. Watered Cookies 800ml with recharge, and watered Blue Microverse 500ml with recharge as well.

Growjay Simpson I struggle to keep mine up as well, but I’ve found that misting the soil a couple times a day to keep it somewhat moist helps with between 5% and 10% sometimes.
Day: 14
Lowered the light a little and turned the intensity up just a bit. Around 300ppfd/26DLI for the more mature Cookies, and about 250ppfd/21DLI for the Blue Microverse. I have my Controller 67 set based on keeping the VPD reading at an ideal transpiration rate of 0.9 to 1.1 kPa.

Looking good it seems. Day 13 for the Cookies, and day 8 for the Blue Microverse. Temperature averages about 70-75F with RH staying between 60 and 67% (the mini hygrometers are only showing 70% and 80% because the close proximity to the evaporating water from the soil). Smaller leaf on the Blue Microverse is a bit concerning, but the plant seems extremely healthy otherwise!

Just watered these girls for the first time in almost 3 days. 600ml for the 11 day old Cookies, and 300ml for the 6 day old Blue Microverse. Watered slowly in a circle starting about 2 inches from the stem of each plant working outwards. The rest of the soil was misted. Water is tap water with 4ml of lemon juice per gallon to achieve a drop in PH to a more acidic 6.36. Tested at 209ppm.

Growjay Simpson Oh and also, the stark difference in color from pictures earlier today are due to the random discovery that the contrast on my phones camera was adjusted, so this is it’s true color lol.
Day: 10
Day 10 for Ethos Cookies, and day 5 for Night Owl Blue Microverse! Soil only looks dry in these pictures because the last misting was over 4 hours ago. Everything seems healthy, but as this is my first grow I am still skeptical. As of 3:19pm MST my tent is 76.5 degrees F, with 65% humidity. Average VPD efficiency is 0.9 kPa. Light is set at 28”, with DLI reading +/-19, PPFD 226 umol.

boringstuff Dont go that deep into ideal conditions on your first grow. Just go with the flow and observe. Most common mistake for rookies is over feeding, so when the plant is very young like this I would suggest using half of what your are mixing.
Growjay Simpson It regularly gets well below zero where I live, then will hit 50 degrees the next day so I guess I’m a little paranoid of all the hard work and research being destroyed by less than optimal conditions, but that being said, I am probably micro-managing the space a little too much! 😂😂 as far as feeding, I haven’t fed them anything yet, so the 205ppm is strictly my filtered tap water ppm..

Is this a possible sign of light/heat stress? Or completely normal? I lowered the PPFD/DLI from 226/21 to 188/17 at 24/0 lighting schedule.
