Lemiwinks Charlie 2.0 dry weight of 62.2 grams! Charlie gave me 109.2 grams total. 4 blueberry plants netted me 348 grams or 12.42 oz. I experimented and learned lots from my first real grow. I learned that you need lots of patience...The importance of keeping the same size plants...and making sure to make changes gradually. Stress is real for the plants, keep them happy! Dec5

Cindy Wondering when you start flush? Saw this at day 140 and sticks at 150. I was told/read 2 weeks before flush and just water to make sure any chemical flavor is gone. What are your thoughts?
Lemiwinks I made the mistake of rushing my first pre-harvest flush. The bud was good, but had a bit of a chemical taste. On the last plants, I made sure to flush for at least two weeks. I also cure for at least 6 weeks.

Niktron Man that thing is tall!
Lemiwinks Hard to believe it’s the same plant that had the broken and taped up stem. Real glad I didn’t cut that stem off! Turned out to be the biggest cola on the plant. Unfortunately Charlie had one too many shocks. Not sure about the quality of the buds on this one. Gonna let the bottom half mature until the trichomes are mostly amber... should make some fine “sleepy time cookies”.

Mwater. Added another 450w LED light to tent. Wasn’t getting the coverage that I wanted. This way I can have the lights at different heights for my “experiments”. Next grow will have all plants at the same basic height to avoid the lighting problems that I’ve had. Also topped Charlie. She was getting too close to the light and still wasn’t showing signs of leaving the veg stage. Lady at the hydro store told me to try it.(shock it into flowering) Sept21

Lemiwinks Arida and Bubbles are way ahead of Danick and Charlie. It would seem that a moderate amount of molasses introduced during the veg state greatly increases the maturation of the plant. Danick and Bubbles were treated the same and were almost identical in size until I switched to flowering mode. Now Bubbles is way ahead in Bud production and is starting to form crystals on its leaves. 1st pic is of Bubbles, 2nd of Danick.
Cindy I read to start molasses a few weeks of veg... is that what you did? I didn’t have molasses prior to things being out in flower and I’m doing a major clean before starting because of spider mites. Wondering about the early molasses (can start now as it will be 2 weeks cleaning, fogging, and alternating foliage sprays)
Lemiwinks I started giving Bubbles some molasses at day 31 in diluted amounts.

2.0 L Arida, 1.8L Mwater for Bubbles, 1.8L Mwater for Charlie and 1.6L Mwater for Danick. A is 37” tall. Still not sure if Danick & Charlie are hermie... I might just be paranoid. Arida and Bubbles are way ahead in flower growth, but Arida has been left to grow naturally and Bubbles has been getting Molasses water. Maybe D&C are just behind in development? Added Molasses to D&C this morning and put Danick back in the tent. Charlie will remain in the closet for now. Hope I’m not messing things up... Sept 1

Lemiwinks Seen an article that says Blueberry is prone to hermaphroditism... Noticed that two of my plants seem to be flowering much slower than the other two. Maybe HS training is not such a good idea for this strain? Not positive yet, but keeping a close eye out for ball sacks and bananas😕
Cindy My blueberry didn’t like high stress training... got seeds but had other issues too -(light leaks and high humidity).

Lemiwinks Added a dehumidifier to my setup. Flowering mode has the humidity going up to 100% when I check in the morning.
Cindy Unless you vent out hot air from dehumidifier it will get hot. I ran across that issue. I turn off dehumidifier when lights on to help with this.
Lemiwinks Thanks for the advice. I had my fans on with the light timer. Took them off and added venting from outside. That should do the trick😎

Niktron Is that extra lighting you have hanging on the wall of your tent?
Lemiwinks Ya. I added a few LED fixtures down low. Used some Velcro to hang them. Low power consumption and very little heat. My idea was to add some light below the canopy. Guess we’ll see how effective they are.

Niktron Looks great! Are you trying to keep all your plants the same hight?
Lemiwinks In answer to Niktron, no. I’m trying different things with the different plants. Arida is my control, growing without anything but some trimming. She was the first to sprout but was attacked by my cat and ended up being the runt of the four. With Bubbles, I’m using HST and adding Molasses water on off days. Charlie was the biggest and received the first supercropping and Danick is also getting abused by HST. Once I like the way they are all growing, I’ll switch to Flowering mode.
Niktron Sounds like a plan. Are you using molasses as a fertilizer?
