Day: 25

can’t believe how much of a difference the heater made. look how much happier they are. literally praying to the light. my reg temp/humidity gauge is saying 68 degrees about 70% humidity. but my ink bird is saying almost 80 degrees. it does not feel like 80 in there, so thinking that’s off. lights will be on until noon tomorrow. will update then. flipping soon for sure

tkk.eth my fluctuation of temp from when lights off vs. lights on is currently only 5 degrees if the regular temp/humidity gauge im using is correct

rabidreject2 Haha yeh I remember when I first got my inkbird controllers - I’d spent like £150 ish on two controllers, one humidistat and one thermo. They came and it was REALLY HARD for me to be able to afford them in the first place- all it did was make me more aware of the ventilation problem until I could actually afford to buy the oil filled radiator (I believe the safest option in this country - they probably make purpose made heaters now but it does its job! Without it I’d be screwed and a grow would never start! I usually find by like week 4 to 6 in autos or I think after they’ve stretched, they don’t need the radiator any more and it became the opposite problem - too hot!

rabidreject2 Iv sorted it now though so you will get there. They look great! All perky!

Day: 24

added heater, temp stabilized at 65-66 degrees with the lights off. humidity around 70%. switching light cycle to turn off from 12pm-6pm to get more heat from the light at night and will dial back heater. once it is all stabilized will flip to flower and figure it all out again 😂 if anyone has any recommendations on bringing the humidity down for flower that doesn’t take much space let me know! the heater i added makes it pretty crammed, i might be able to fit a small dehumidifier. didn’t take a pic so just added this photo instead

tkk.eth next time im definitely going with 2 gallon pots

Day: 23

+1

6 plant, 5 gallon pots, 707 soil, no nutes, slight leaf curl, believe from light being too close to plants. Moved light farther from plants. Watered almost a week ago with a gallon of water a piece and soil is still damp. Letting dry out, using less water and will supply more heat. Temp started closer to 60 degrees, (in a garage with concrete ground, putting blanket under tonight) getting closer to 67 degrees with 60-70% humidity. on a 18/6 light cycle. 4” in-line fan. single vivosun light

tkk.eth found 5 afids on back middle plant, i killed them all. paying close attention

tkk.eth just added blanket under tent, plant with leaf curl looking a little droopy compared to the rest. can’t add nutes yet because the soil is still damp from last watering
