Day: 37

November 21, 2019. Looks like we lost one. The solid got a little dry. The other ones are still going but the growth seems to be slower than some of the other posts on here. It’s our first time. Maybe I added nutrients late or the wrong type. Time to read up on this.

Zombie1 What type of tight are you using and how far away is it?

Jules Hi. The light is about 27 inches from the top of the pots. The light came in an Agrobrite Fluorowing Grow Light Kit. It is a 125W 6400K compact fluorescent lamp. Once the plants get to about 7 inches in height I was going to get a better light for flowering plants. The place where I purchased it said to switch to a red light. Should I move the plants closer to the light and/or change the type of light now? What do you suggest? One other thing is that we put the plants under a light about 5 days after sprouting because there was a delay in getting the light and grow tent. Thank you!

Zombie1 Yes move the light closer. They are long and skinny like that because they are stretching for the light. Try moving it to about 18” and see how they do. The more light the better. And once you go to flip you will need to switch the spectrum of the light to 2700-3500k

November 13, 2019. Comparing my plants to other posts of around the same age, mine seem to be taller and mine only have 4 little leaves on the tip of a delicate stem. Did I or am I doing something wrong? When I planted the seeds I didn’t have a grow tent or a light. We set up the grow tent about a week in. I am adding nutrients today. We are adding Nature’s Pride Veg 6-3-3-5 and Gree Ln Gro Mycorrhizae. I’m new to this and those were suggested. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

November 5th, 2019. The leaves are getting bigger and are multiplying.

Day: 19

November 3rd, 2019. Finally bought a grow tent. It’s 4x4 and too tall to stand upright in the basement so we put it sideways. The plants are now basking in the light.
