Black Diesel - Just Feminized

Winter 2020/Spring 2021

Black Diesel I started, paper towel to rock wool, under T5 HO until roots were in dwc nutrient. Used General Hydroponic recirculating dwc schedule. Moved to 4x4 tent in 5 gallon containers to veg under 1000w quantum board LEDs 18(6). Then moved to closet. Lollipop technique, (it was bad). Roots were so big I put them in 8 gallon containers rcwc. Dense health and leafy.

Switched lights to 12/12. Have been gradually adding darkness to light cycle from 18/6 to 16/8, 3 days later 14/20, 3 days later 12/12. Gave week 1 GH Bloom for recirculating system.

combatmedic81 Why not just flip to 12/12 straight from veg? Seems like stretching it out over time just burns up time

Have kept bending stems, trying to keep them spread apart. I’m trying to get even growth around the whole plant, but it’s hard. Stems don’t want to lay down where I try to put them, so I have been using a roll of plant twist tie to hold things where I want them. TRYING ANYWAY!! It’s not perfect, but it’s not too bad. Stems repair themselves and start trying to go where they want within a day or two. Still on 18/6 lighting schedule, and GH Veg Nutrients.

Prepped a closet in a empty bedroom by painting walls with flat white paint and putting down plastic on the floor. Took the plant from my husband (the neglector). I can’t get to the tent they were in because of my wheelchair. But I got it from here. Transplanted into 8 gallon containers, lollipopped under growth, super cropped best I could for flat canopy, and changed nutrients pH’d to 5.5, and put in the closet.

Just a few days without checking on this plant and it looked like this. It’s grown like a mother fucker. If I hadn’t been so busy and kept a better eye on it, it would be much neater, and properly pruned.

RDWC system with mini fridge chiller, General Hydroponics Flora nutes, oscillating fan mounted, circulation fan on floor, 6 inch intake fan (with filter over intake side), 6 inch ipower exhaust set up with carbon filter, and 2 1000w quantum board leds. I know I should be using stronger lights especially later, but financial problems restrict me right now.
