Really loving the colors coming from this girl now. Lots of pink hues that I’ve never seen before. 🌸 Smells very sweet and skunky, like a dog that got into a candy stash LOL. Cut out nutrients probably 2 weeks ago and began watering with cooler temp water about one week ago. Raised the room temp by a couple degrees just because she is sharing a room with a vegging mother (white widow) and a pre-bloom auto. (Another banana blaze 🔥)

Getting closer to harvest, I’m thinking maybe another week or so. She smells crazy, super sweet with a hint of gas/diesel in there. Pink hues starting to show in the buds, a beautiful trait carried by these genetics. Pictures really don’t do justice, this is a strain you’ve got to see in person to really appreciate fully.

Did a good fan leaf defol a couple days ago, been tapering down on nutrients. Water demand starting to decrease. Pistils beginning to show signs of flush. Trichomes stacking. All signs the plant is focusing on bud development. Smell getting stronger, fall colors showing.

Bud sites beginning to fill, trichome development taking off. This cultivar is not very fast, but has been pretty easy going. Trained very well, made a beautiful 2x2 canopy planted in the 3gal bucket. Much larger than the critical + 2.0 auto which was planted at the same time, but not nearly as fast. You can see the critical in far back for comparison

combatmedic81 I would say so, I have not grown autos, but you have a nice canopy and she is spread out. Maybe just snip those lower bud sights that are not going to get light, focus the energy to the colas

The ladies transitioned beautifully into flower. Been giving bud nutes and molasses with most waterings for the last week or so other than a 3 day period when I saw signs of slight burn at the tips of leaves. Did some LST right before taking pics, but was excited to share the progress lol. The ladies grew 14 inches in the last week alone averaging to 2 inches per day.

Haven’t done too much extra since last update. Started to introduce bloom nutrients & molasses into the diet along with the veg nutrients. Let the girls stack up in height a bit, then today did some more LST I believe will probably be for the last time, along with slight defol. Both ladies are showing pistils which means flower is right around the corner. Don’t want to interfere much with the plants during flower. Gonna let the leaves pop out where they want and absorb as much energy as possible to put into developing some nice buds. Note: these pics are from right after LST / defol, and then about 5 hours later after they began to adjust

wescoas

wescoas I appreciate that! I was a bit worried at first that I started the training too early. They were both onto their third or fourth node, about 5 inches tall when I started to train. But now I’m seeing those stems getting thick under the top sights, so that’s good news to me

The ladies adjusted well to the first training forms, these pics are from last night. Gave them some additional LST points after these pics were taken. Progress is getting quicker every day

MamaSmokes

MamaSmokes When do you start pulling plants to the side and why

wescoas

wescoas You can start to do this once they get to be about 4-6 inches tall. You take the tallest point of the plant, and bend it over. The plant creates a new high point, which will flower into a cola. The reason behind doing this is to increase yield

Girls are doing great under the hps light. I know I know “hps spectrum is better for flower, mh bulbs are best for veg” yes I know. They are autoflowers, these ladies love any light they can get. 👍🏼
