Ripening for maybe another week and then it’s chopping time. Hoping to see them turn a little darker purple in that time, but that’s hard to see under the big light.

Day: 27

Selected the two strongest plants and potted them up into 5gal/12” air pots last night. They seem to be adjusting well. I’ll be able to give them their first topping this evening and start the training. But first, I’ll be setting up the auto drain and watering system.

Day: 24

Roots coming out of the the bottom and sides of the pots. Time to pot up and top!

Day: 18

Responding very well to the new containers and feed. Seeing 5 nodes on most of the plants. Looking for the 7th to start coming out before the next transplant and topping. Not immediately apparent which two will get moved into flower. I’d like to find new homes for the extra three since they’re looking so healthy, a slightly taller order in the middle of winter. I also suspect that they will be harder to move over to soil the older they get. All the other growers I know of do something other than coco

Day: 15

Moved into 1 gallon transplanter pots. The Velcro down the side makes them easier to get out later. Could have moved a day earlier, but the roots were not bound despite being through the sides of the small containers. Starting light veg feed at 1100EC 6.1PH

annamarie1357 Where do u get the small clear ones?

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth I got them on Amazon. Bought them in bulk in various sizes and use them for all my smaller plants

Day: 13

All plants now have 3 nodes and are no longer considered seedlings! Roots are starting to emerge from the containers, confirming that they’re ready for transplant. I’ll keep them in for one more fertigation cycle to work up to the full strength and then they’ll be ready to pot up. GD bottom 5 plants

Day: 9

All of the seedlings are doing relatively well. Noticing a bit of asymmetry in the leaves, so I’m begging a foliar feed of calmag at 800EC twice a day in addition to the twice daily fertigation. GD on bottom

Day: 4

We officially have seedlings 100% of the seeds made it from both batches that were started together. Now moved into coco perlite blend and starting seedling fertigation blend. GD top 5 plants

Day: 2

All seeds are now in jiffy pellets and poking their heads up. Light on at 18/6. Still on 30C/85F heating mat. GDs are the bottom 5 seeds

Day: 0

Seeds scuffed, soaked, and then into individual paper towels to sit in warmed Pyrex for at least 24 hours. Thermostat probe under the paper towels set to 30C/85F. 5 seeds planted in hopes of 2 workable seedlings.
