Day 112 (Week 16)

52 updates

174 photos

Day: 112

+1

Day 52 of flower. Only cannatonic remains. Had a good look at the trichomes on all and most were ready with some getting busy with the ambers. The ultimate had many colas filled with milky trichomes as did Durban poison and Exocet haze. Got them just in time but strange how the schedules were pushed up by soo much. Was expecting to get busy over the next 2 weeks. Photos are from yesterday. I have been experiencing power issues affecting the light schedules which is my theory behind the speedy flower.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Hopefully no hermies from the power issues

Day: 109

Day 49 of flower. Week 7 done. Bubba harvest imminent with some others looking quite close. Tent will get more space soon as bubba is harvested. Trichomes are looking almost perfect. Tomorrow morning/evening should be perfect.

Walty Beautiful grow....looking great! 👍👍

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Looking great. Is that monster in the back the Durban still? She looks amazing 👍🏾👍🏾

FuzzehSheep @mystrain420, you are indeed correct. She is Durban poison in the back. She doing really nice though she got some seed which isn’t super. Far from bad though. Thanks!

Day: 106

Day 46 flower. Bubba is looking wow. Couple days out by my eye. The others have a week or 3 to go. Pretty much every week one more goes down so we will focus on those next up.

Day: 104

Day 44 of flower. Decided to lead strip the grow. Removed the trellis for a while to make some changes. Raised the shortest one. Bubba island looking good. Should be less than a week to go. I’ll get you some close ups next time.

Walty

Walty They look great! 👍.

Anydave They look fantastic! Can’t wait to taste 🤤

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Looking great in there 👍🏾👍🏾

Day: 100

+1

Day 40 of flower. Good development in the buds. Increased the feed level a bit over normal due to some deficiencies. Last feed for bubba island done with around a week/ and a half to go.

Day: 97

+2

Day 37 of flower. Just another entry for the log. Got some deficiency showing in Durban poison and The Ultimate. Will look to adjust feed slightly on next feeding.

Day: 96

+2

Day 36 of flower. Week 6 has started. Needed some support for the girls as they getting a bit heavy and taking strain. Starting to see some expansion on the buds which is pleasing.

Day: 93

+2

Day 33 of flower. Almost end of week 5. They are getting a bit of girth going on and the smell is getting amazing.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Looking sexy 👍🏾

FuzzehSheep I’m wondering just how much more they will fill out? Or is it small gains here out?

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 I think it’s strain dependent. But they look like they’re nowhere near done so maybe both

Day: 89

Day 29 of flower, beginning of week 5. Now they looking frosty and fattening out. Smells are super. Got about 3 weeks before bubba island is done. Got about 2 weeks of feed left before flushing and watering only.

Day: 86

+2

Day 26 of flower. And OMG found some hermaphroditism in bubba island! Some of the lower sites showed and were chopped. Removed all I could find. Will keep a close eye on it over the next few days. That are your guys thoughts? Oh, I did find and removes 3 more leaves with small PWM spots on bubba, so stress induced ? They affected areas on Bubba are close to the tent sides and may touch due to negative pressure when closed, could this affect them?

Day: 84

Day 24. Week 4 day 3. Progressing well and fattening up nicely. Got some nice smells going on. Found some early spots of PWM, which was not pleasing. Been away for 2 days and encountered some circulation issues which is the likely cause, readjusted the fans to suit after the previous adjustments seem to have had a negative effect. Removed all traces of PWM on leaves, Flower sites and stalks, pretty much only affecting the lowers so not too much lost and cut a few questionable lowers that may have been tainted. Looking better and the removal managed to clear up the under canopy and improve airflow.

Day: 82

+2

Day 22 of flower. Stretch should be over by end of week3 and looks to be done. Now it's on to getting some nice bud development.

Day: 80

+1

Day 20 of flower. Today was lead strip day. Headline photo is the after and there should be a before. Watered and fed after the strip. Should be a couple of days and they will be looking a bit better filled out. Light can get through the canopy. Stripped out some smaller branches that are detracting from the overall nutrient distribution. Would have been better if they were stripped a bit better when transitioning though we learn. Now to keep an extra keen eye and keep the ladies happy and stress free.

Day 18 of flower. Each of them doing their thing. Watered and fed to the schedules.

Walty

Walty Looking great! How often do you find yourself watering the coco?

FuzzehSheep The pots are 20litres but not completely filled. Watering 2-3litres every +- 2 days. The current solution being fed is about 750-800ppm.

Walty

Walty Thanks! I’m not used to measuring ppm.

Day: 77

Day 17 of flower. Starting to see more deleopment in the budlets forming.

Day: 76

+4

Day 16 of flower. Week 3 - day 2. Exocet haze in the back left is getting his stretch going on but slow and steady. Going to have to do a defoliation end/ near the end of the week to get unrestricted light to as much of the canopy and as deep into the canopy as possible. Going to be a bit higher risk, though worth the reward. Any thoughts on when to defoliate? Stripped many leaves a few days back so needing some recovery time.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 I try to do my defoliation the first day of week 1,2,3

Day: 75

Day 15 of flower. Start of week 3 and progress as normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. Watered/fed the plants today.

Walty

Walty They’ve really taken off these last ten days! Looking great!

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Am I seeing more stretch? Looks like the one front left is catch up with the Durban 👍🏾

FuzzehSheep Yeah, the Ultimate is the front left. He is a beast and a thirsty one. The one who is pushing hard now is the exo et haze in the back left. Still got some stretch going on while DP got off in a hurry. I'll get some close ups and a few more pictures for the next update. Both your grows are looking great btw. Looking at walty's progress which is 10 days ahead and can't wait!

Day: 74

Day 14 of flower. End of week 2. More of them developing bud sites and still stretching.

Day: 73

+2

Day 13 of flower. They are thirsty today. Fed them today. Did some defoliation today. A bit early for the defoliation though not too heavy and much better light down to the lower branches.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 They’re looking great especially the one in the back on the right 👍🏾

FuzzehSheep Yeah, the back right is Durban poison. A beast, who moves really fast in early flower. It’s really interesting having 5 different strains to see how much they can vary as a grower tending to their needs.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Yea especially with the feeds I know some probably eat way heavier

Day: 72

+2

Day 12 of flower. Showing good development. Some good stretch happening on some.

Day: 71

Day 11 of flower and they reaching for the sky now! Well most of them.

FuzzehSheep Preparing for day 14 defoliation.

Day: 70

Day 10 of flower. Got some stretch going on. Looking super. Gave a light feeding to all the ones who needed. Can’t wait for the next couple of days.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Looking like a jungle in there 👍🏾

Day: 69

Day9 of Flower. Progressing well. The ultimate showing signs of windburn though looks to be sensitive in this regard. Should be getting some stretch starting on in the other few.

Day: 68

Looking great on the whole. The ultimate has some light windburn, so have had to change up the fans positions to suit. Fed them some as they were all on the dry/ light end. Some stunning development with Durban poison really giving horns early into flower.

Day: 67

Looks like we have some stretch starting with some of the girls. Added some feed/water to a few of the ones who were dry. Upped the light levels for a bit to see how they respond. Doesn’t look too bad though may take a few days to show effects.

Day: 66

Progressing good. Update from earlier in the day. Few others are getting some pistils.

Day: 65

+1

Nothing special today, looks like progress and bounce back from defoliation. The ultimate is a thirsty bugger and needed some feed again. Trying the lower volume of water, and less frequently so let’s see how that goes over a week with all the plants. Not sure what’s up with some of the leaves with the ultimate, where they are cupping down. What are your thoughts? Like clawing but seemingly random across the canopy. And some good development with Durban poison and the transition to flower.

Day: 64

Progressing good, feeling light after the watering on day 60. Watered and did some light defoliation and repositioned the Plants for better spacing. Added a fan to circulate below the canopy as an experiment though should help some.

Day: 63

+1

Merry Christmas all. The colour is coming back to the cannatonic and all the others looking all the right colours. Pleased with the days progress. Some Pre flowers developing on some of the plants.

Day: 62

Day 2 of flower. Not much to see as the pic was from early in the light cycle. Hopefully will have a much better progress pic tomorrow.

Day: 61

Day 1 of flower. Not much to see, business as usual. Fed the plants for flower today. Should see some changes in the next few days. Cannatonic’s new growth is a bit light in colour though that could be due to the double flush from last week as they had a bit of build up. Hopefully it will pick up soon or will need to review her feed and PH as they are all a bit special and playing a wide field of strains really highlights their unique needs. Re-installed the trellis as it was getting to me with the messy double layer. split it and have a new higher trellis.

Splifswiftns Nice work. It’s looking good in there. Bubba island kush definitely sounds intriguing. You’ll have to give a smoke report 🤙

Day: 60

Last day of veg.

Day: 59

Responding nicely to the increased airflow. Second last day before flowering. Wanting to get it started though a last push will see me to the end of day 60. Shouldn’t need watering/feeding until then though will keep an eye on it.

Day: 58

Picked up well from the drying out. Added an extra fan to improve airflow to other parts of the tent. The small Franco’s lemon cheese clone in front is holding water to good, will have to transplant into another pot and monitor. Fungus gnats slowed nicely from the drying and neem oil.

Day: 57

Flushed again today. We’re on the dry side and the photo is from after watering/flushing. Flushed with water, calcium and ph’d. They are still showing signs of being on the dry side after watering. Keeping them on the dry side as the fungus gnats have returned. Neem oil solution applied to the top and gnat traps to remedy.

rbuck Any chance those are overwatered?

FuzzehSheep Nope, definitely not overwatered this time. They were dry and light as I do check the pot weights before watering. The little clone is over watered as it’s got a different medium and not draining well as I’m learning.

Day: 56

Getting ready for the flip soon. Judging it day by day as it’s needing a bit more something before it gets to flower. Flushed this week as it looks like some build up of nutrients. Looking like it will be day 60 for flip.

Day: 54

Recovering from changes. Need a few more days of recovery before flower.patience young padawan.

Day: 53

Super cropped, and removed much of the foliage and lower nodes. Added trellis net to help support the super cropping. Waiting for them plants to bounce back from the changes and then flip to flower.

Day: 49

Still suffering with power issues though they seem in good order. Some oddities here and there. Close ups show the symptoms of some leaves curling underneath inwards. Any idea with the leaves. PH could be a bit on the low side at 5.8? will back it to 6 and monitor. Will have to do some defoliage and training soon. Lifted the Exocet haze who seems to have responded well.

Day: 45

Been experiencing power outages though have been managing to keep them from flowering. Wanting to get a bit more growth before flipping.

Day: 42

Raised the light a bit to 22” at 70% output. Seems to be the upper end they like. Good growth though not gaining much height.

Day: 40

+1

Changes seem to have helped some. Trying something different with the feed by following a new ratio. It is higher than previous waterings. Hopefully positive results. Aiming to flower in 1-2 weeks time though let’s see how it goes. Concerned about the cannatonic who is moving slower than the rest. Plants are seeming quite short, is this normal? Will have to measure and update.

SweetAroma How many gallons are your pots?

FuzzehSheep The pots are 20 litre/5 gallon fabric pots.

Day: 37

Just topped the Exocet haze. Done some small adjustments and fed the dry ones. They look happy and well fed. Will need more circulation. EC pen unreliable.

Day: 33

Light level been around 65% for a while though have upped it to 85% and see how it goes. Topped them 3 days ago. A few fan leaves were removed for better light to the lower new growth. Should be transplanting them in the coming days into their final pots as the roots look good.

Day: 33

Couple days after transplant. Should be transplanting the other 2 tomorrow. Really starting to make a move on in growth.

Day: 31

+2

Adjusted start date. Transplanted some of the ladies. Ran out of coco for the rest. Defoliate some leaves blocking light to the lowers. Root growth is great and really healthy. 670ppm feed @ ph 5.9.

Day: 27

+2

Made some changes since last post. Fed them, adjusted the light output to 75% from around 50%. They all seem to have responded with stretch, nothing major but at least they have node spaces now. Some of the strains showing signs of what I think is light stress (new growth looks stressed) backed off the light a bit to 65% and will monitor.

FuzzehSheep Reference pot colours for strains. Black: Durban Poison Aqua: Exocet Haze Pink: Bubba Island Kush Green: The Ultimate Purple: Cannatonic

Freesmoke07 Are you selling clones?

Day: 25

Growth seeming to slow. Some issues with fungus gnats.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 Put a bowl of apple cider vinegar with a few drops dish soap in it(the gnats will drown themselves) When growing multiple strains you’ll notice they don’t necessarily eat the same amounts, your feeds can be to high or low. What’s the light distance?

FuzzehSheep 22” with light at 50% 600w full spectrum 3500k LED unit. And many thanks for the advice. Will give it a go.

Mystrain420

Mystrain420 No problem. I have a question though why run at 50% other that for seedings?

Day: 21

Re-potted into 12x12 cm pots, changed the humidifier setup. They look much happier in the new pots, with a lot more height which we suspect was pot restricted. During transplant the roots looked healthy.

Day: 18

Fixed ventilation issue. Carbon filter was not passing any air hence the high temps. Hopefully they will pick up steam. Should be transplanting this weekend.
