zenmaster After wet trimming I stored the manicured buds in a brown paper bag and left to dry, it has now been 2 weeks (13 days precisely) drying in the brown bag, today I took the buds out of the bag, weighed them up to get a dry weight and then put the buds into a glass mason jar with a 62% boveda pack PB Wet Weight was: 43.1g *** PB DRY WEIGHT: 13.7g *** I always normally dry before trimming, this is the first time I’ve ever wet trimmed, so I have never taken wet weights before, and not that weight loss matters, I was still curious to know how much weight loss there was during the drying stage, so I worked out the weight loss just for fun… Weight Loss: 29.4g

zenmaster On Day 83, I wet trimmed PB and stored in a glass jar, a few minutes later the jar fogged up with moisture. On Day 84, I opened the jar to air it out, the buds were moist but no mold so it was fine, I left them to air out until the jars were dry before putting them back in for another 24 hours, before I did this, I did a wet weight just so I can compare weight loss when I do a dry weight Wet Weight: 43.1g Out of all the plants, this was the highest weight, which was surprising as she was grown in the Chinese containers On Day 85, today, I transferred the buds from the mason jars into brown paper bags as I have read they’re a good option for drying the flowers in, I shall leave them for 1-2 weeks before putting them back into the mason jars

zenmaster Unfortunately due to certain circumstances, I have been forced to harvest the girls early… Normally I will remove them from soil and hang them to dry for 14 days, sadly due to said circumstances I’m unable to dry the plants whole, so for my first time ever, I have tried wet trimming instead… I removed the plant from the tent yesterday, chopped all the buds off the plant and scrapped the soil and skeleton… Then today I have wet trimmed all the buds up… I had to put them in mason jars straight after trimming due to the very strong smell… however about 5 minutes after putting them in mason jars I noticed the jars started to fog up with moisture, this is obviously not good and could lead to mold and potentially ruin the whole harvest, unfortunately I don’t have the option to air dry them how I would normally (again due to the smell) I have had to leave them in the mason jars tonight until tomorrow (roughly the next 24 hours) I’m hoping they won’t be ruined and develop mold in that time… I am unsure if I will be able to keep the harvest or if I may (very sadly) have to dispose of it all (heartbreaking) I’m going to try and get some brown paper bags and dry them in there in the main tent with the carbon filter and put a ONA gel tub outside the tent in hopes that will be enough to combat the smell of all the trimmed plants combined otherwise I will have to get rid of everything which will be extremely disappointing So at the moment I’m not sure what’s going to happen, I haven’t weighed them because they’re not dry enough to give an accurate weight, I will update the log with the outcome whenever that may be.

zenmaster No major updates, she is filling out a little fatter, around 60% orange pistils and trichomes are starting to look a little milky, I will most likely push her about 4 more weeks to give time for the other girls in the tent to finish first, this should give her time to push her self to the max

zenmaster Buds are looking fatter, more trichomes starting to show but still not super frosty, still about 60-70% white pistils, estimating 1-3 weeks until chop

zenmaster Buds are looking bigger and becoming more frosty looking with trichomes but still not ready in my opinion, I’d say 1-3 weeks left max and then she should be good

zenmaster Defoliated a few more leaves away this week, she’s starting to fatten a little and show some more trichomes but she’s still not ready yet,

zenmaster A sad update this week, I found many seeds inside her buds, I have picked them all out and half of the pistils have turned orange but her buds are still very underdeveloped and barely showing trichomes, I will let her finish her life to harvest but I don’t expect anything too great now sadly.

@eaegifts You should check any other plants near her and if they’re pollinated don’t pick out the seeds, lots of touching will make hairs turn orange. You can always make hash if you don’t like picking out seeds.

zenmaster I wish I knew this a few days ago, I did pick out the seeds from this one and surrounding plants that got pollinated, and exactly what you said, the majority of pistils have all gone orange now, I’m hoping when they fill out a little more they’ll develop some more trichomes 😮‍💨

zenmaster From bending the main stem down last week, she has shot straight back up again and has stretched quite a bit but still looks healthy and her budsites look like they’re starting to increase in size a little now.

zenmaster When I checked the tent today I noticed that she had stretched severely tall and was also leaning to the left side (I think the wind from the fan was causing her to tilt) so to avoid her stretching any more and tilting, I have added 2 plant bends to the main stem, severely bending her down and creating more of an even canopy, this is going to cause very high stress, I hope that she will bounce back and stretch up from it and I hope it doesn’t cause so much stress that she ends up herming, fingers crossed she responds well from this bend training

zenmaster Another note, so many roots are now visible through the pots, downside is I can also see green on the pots which indicate algae inside which is really not good but because it’s so low inside the pots I can not wipe and remove it, I just hope this doesn’t affect her too much.

zenmaster Lots of growth this week, she has stretched taller in height, leaves have extended out in width and nodes are growing out into branches, I’m hoping she doesn’t stretch too much and starts to begin taking structure Also her taproots are becoming more visible through the Chinese containers, it will look cool closer to the end when you can see the soil has been completely taken over by taproots.

zenmaster Last week I added an extra layer of soil to the pot.. This week I have added a cup filled with some soil above the pot, around the main stem to add some extra support as she has grown much taller in just the last week and is also spreading out nicely, showing 3rd sets.

zenmaster 1st sets are looking very healthy and growing well, the tiniest tip of the 2nd sets is also showing. I also slightly topped up the tub with some extra soil.

zenmaster First sets showing and looking very healthy even despite to the opening leaf being damaged, she looks well.

zenmaster 8/4/24- 2:00pm- 120 Hours Grew taller today, still stuck in shell so I gently removed it to let her open up, by removing the shell I seem to have slightly damaged one of the opening leaves, however this hasn’t affected her growth.
