Day: 90

5/17/20 - chop day!!! 80 grams on buds wet weight, 12 grams popcorn mugs, 11 grams larf. For my first grow it feels like a great success! I messed Flavia up pretty bad and switch growing mediums, nute burn, light burn. So maybe 40-60 grams dried. She’s hanging up. I will post the root system after I get it out of the coco. Last pic is a comparison (left second grow) (right - this grow). Trending in the right direction. Milky trichomes, very few amber/pink (less than 5%).

4/20/20 update - week 5 of flower- drinking 3 cups twice a day. Added Mylar to the room it’s growing in and trying to max out this cheap Burple light. Gonna need more light next time. More fattening buds. Found one leaf that appeared to have some mold on it. Plucked it and a a few sugar and small fan leaves that at blocking light and reducing air/increasing humidity. She’s small and stout but she’s pushing out good bd for her size. Humidity too high. Might have to shorten the dark period from 20/4 to 24 staring due to humidity concerns. With try for this week, week 5 of flower (8 week flower per breeder)

Day: 60

4/17/20 - over 60 days since I planted this! That’s crazy! Well she’s drinking 4 cups/ almost I liter every 12 hours or so. Buds still pushing out white hairs.... need the jewelry loop. She’s 20/4 for about a week. Seems to not slowed down growth/bud production. I have the next Grow right next to her and I have been doing some LST and reported so giving some down time. Is good for auto’s. May crack it back up to 24/0 again. Looking at better/stronger light since light penetration is poor. I want to keep defoliating but don’t want to stunt her more.

Yvngb420 How did you keep your plant short and bud

Day: 56

4/13/20 - Week 4 Flower- starting to push more energy to buds. Lots of trichomes forming on buds and leafs. Need to get jewelers loop to be able to see. These pictures are taking 1 week after defoliating/lollipopping.

Day: 53

4/10/20 - quick update she is drinking 7 cups (56oz) each watering. I know some of it is due to the size of the pot but she hungry! She’s still tiny but she’s going strong. She responded well to the defoliating 5 days ago.

Day: 51

4/8/20 - 2 days after defoliation. Lots of new growth. Branches aren’t getting much bigger but some swelling on the bud sites.

Day: 48

4/5/20 - finally got the color, humidity, and water down with coco and she is thriving. Too little too late? She is vary bushy. I have made a ton os mistakes this first grow but learned a lot! Thank you Flavia (name for this girl)

Day: 31

3/18/20 - FIM’ed and ended up switch her to preflower. Translated to coco mix.

Day: 30

3/17/20 - it’s drying out faster with the added coco. I think I’m finding the right mix. Recharge came in today so fed a double dose of that and got a digital PH Meter so I know the true PH 6.12 which is real close to the 6.0 on the low end for soil and high end for soilless (coco) so I think I will have less nutrient issues. I believe I stressed her with the transplanting since she is turning quiet a bit purple on her leaves.

Day: 27

3/14/20 - Major changes made today. Root growth was slow and overwatered again so I ditched the 6 (not 5 gallon) fabric pot and mixed a ton of perlite and coco coir into som to the soil from the 6 gallon into a 1 gallon plastic pot (ordering 3 gallon fabric). Mixed nutes in 1 gallon jug with full strength CaMG+ (10ml), full Bio Root (5ml), the. Half of BioThrive Grow (5ml) and Bio Weed (3ml). Then Ph’d to 6.2 and fed 1.5 cups. Also FIM’ed today since new grow was slow and due to transplant I wanted better root growth. This has turned into an experiment grow for sure.

Wildcard87 Forgot to mention I let her sit outside for a few hours to get some direct sunlight while I transplanted and fed. Kept moving her so she stayed I. The sun for 4 hours while I also cleaned the tote.

Day: 23

3/10/20 - maybe be the last shot of her alive. I worked a little over 1 gallon of coco since she has been growing so slowly. Had to dig her up, mix in coco after removing soil, then plant her back in new mix. Then I fed 6 cups (1/2 strength GH General Organics nutes). We will see if she makes it or not. Going to keep her at 24/0 for the next few days. Pic is right after feeding so super wet looking. Hopefully she will dry out quicker with added coco.

3/7/20 - Fed nutes GH box 2cups (500ml). Did some light leaf tucking to expose some leaf sites.

Day: 19

3/3/20 - Gave the GH grow box recommended nutes (1/2 recommended dosage), 2 cups (around 500 ml) ph’d water right after mixed in 1gal tap water that was left in open container 48 hours. Temps 66-81F and RH 39-60.

Day: 19

3/6/20 - (change count to days above ground (22 days since put in ground). Watered with nutes today 3 cups (750ml). She’s looking strong! Good coloring and starting to see little cola sites forming. I have been hand mixing the top few layer to break up compacted soil after watering dries.

Day: 18

3/2/20 - just a quick update. Pics for posterity.

Day: 16

3/1/20 - (day 14 above ground) Watered yesterday, the soil is still moist. Raised light appears to have stopped the light burn that seems to have been happening. She’s has her second nodes starting to come out, first seen yesterday. Thinking about adding nutes on day 14 (day 18 in here) at 1/4 strength.

Day: 15

2/29/20 (leap year) - Dome has been off for a few days now and lights raised to 24’ after several suggestions. Most say it’s either light burn or nute burn. Will monitor new growth for any yellowing. Will likely water tomorrow. (11 days from sprouting).

Day: 13

2/27/20 - Second set of cup leaves coming in. Realized that my grow time table is a little off since I counted since putting day in vs since germination. Actual day since germination is day 9 (4 day germ period) no water still yet, way less droopy but slight nite burn on tips. Will PH water and only feed 1-2 cups (250-500ml) without nutes still. Water took too long for it to dry (big pot) so will be feeding smaller. Still have humidity dome over probably until next set of leaves form and water dries faster in pot. Lost to learn I the first grow.

Day: 12

+1

2/26/20 - Second set of true leaves coming out quicker after 3 days of slow growth (overwatered). Have not added water since day 7. Have humidity dome over the seedling and created a small channel around the base to increase drying quicker since in 5 gal fabric pot. RH and Temps are good (little lower on temps. Still on 20/4 light schedule.

Day: 10

2/23/20 - Watered on day 7 with 4 cups (about 950ml) of distilled water. No nutes since recommended 2nd full set of leaves is the best time to start nutes. Growth seems slow. Change over to 20/4 lights on day 7th as well. Had a humidity dome over it but seemed droopy (too much water). Hopefully the soils will dry out so it can get some more oxygen in there. Little concerned about the color being a little on the yellowing side but maybe it’s fine. 1st grow! Feedback welcome!

Day: 7

2/20/20 - Watered today 4 cups (almost 950ml) of distilled water. Covered with humidity dome due to holding humidity lower in tote. Switched to 20/4 light schedule.

Day: 6

+2

2/19/20 - Lil gal is about 1-2 cm long. Felt dry to the touch and after turning off the intake/output AC fans the temps rose overnight to warmer. Soil felt dry (1in. Finger-punch). So I water with 1 cup poured in a circle slowly about 2 inches away from the base of the plant. Will check again this evening. No nutes yet. Looking for something organic vs. synthetic.

Day: 4

The cotyledons popped out today when I checked in the PM. Looks like our temps are down (68-77F) but the humidity is up (50-68%). Gave maybe a 1.5 cups of water around the seedling earlier in the day since soil (checked with finger 1/2 in down was dried with very little moisture in the AM check. Pics from 2/17

Day: 3

48 hours after planting seed directly into soil. No cotyledon leaves yet but most seeds need 72 hour to pop. Temps were warmer today (79-86F) and humidity outside of the dome is (53-63%). Hopefully we see some pop tomorrow! Pics from 2/16
