Wow....has it really been this long?!?! Well we are coming to an end and I have started to chop a few branches. She is super sticky and smells to high heavens. Been flushing her with straight water over the last 2 weeks to prepare. Hanging a little under 1/2oz after a nice trim. Not too skilled in that area but I did my best and I’m happy with the results. With how skinny these branches are I’m thinking only week to dry should do them justice. So happy I’m nearing a solid smoke sesh!!!! Update: Ended up taking her down completely and transferred to the tent to hang for the next week. This will also allow the other 3 plants to receive more light.

Trichomes are super shiny!!! Branches are starting to get a little heavy so I may incorporate a support system once the buds get a bit bigger. Still a little slower than I expected with the flowering period but I’m gunna let this girl take her time. Focusing on trichome coloration and at this point we are still 100% clear.

Beautiful girl!!!!!!! Frosty frosty frosty!!!! All bud sites have lifted at least 1 and 1/2 inches from original colas. Trichomes are super sticky and the smell is absolutely insane. All watering from here on will include an ice water mist. Making a solid attempt to produce some purple coloring in the bud sites.

Herbie is killing the game. Hairs are turning orange, bud is gaining girth, and we have some delicious trichomes!!!! She smells beautiful and is turning out to be a great first grow.

Herbie is doing WONDERFUL!! Started to flower her other 3 sisters so I put them all together under the same light now. Trimmed all inactive sites and this girl is pushing upwards. A bounty of buds with the upper branches starting to flower as well. Looking forward to some girth!!!

Little popcorn kernel sized buds forming on each site. She is coming along swell. Took the platform out so she can really stretch. Planning on flipping the other 3 to flower in a couple of weeks so I will just add her to the rest of the closet.

Found some absolute female parts and we are already starting to produce small buds in the bigger colas. Getting some vertical growth.

Been through plenty of changes. We hit a scare when I forgot to water and oh boy did she let me know. Got her right back up and moving with some extra nutrients. Secluded her into the grow box to start flowering today!!!! Gave her a nice trim and tucked her away. Now we start the clock!!!

Full recovery and then some after the massive tie down. Noticeable core growth. Keeping the ties for maybe another week. I want to flip flower soooooo bad but I want my yield to be extreme.

I bet if she could talk she would be saying “ok that’s enough...”. I topped the middle 2 branches at the top but strategically. I waited for a node that went perpendicular to the plant as to keep direct light on the inner branches over the next 2 weeks. This is also taking the form of a micro-grow...either that or I have stunted her due to almost daily defoliation. Either way it helps me out on my limited space. Back to training. I tied EVERYTHING down. Going to call this technique “bodybuilding”. Haha

She’s doing great after releasing the ties. Gave a good dose of nutrients in this morning water and we are going vertical. Multiple bud sites as I count around 14.

So I get a little impatient when I smoke....so haha. Went ahead and did my defoliation and released the ties. Herbie looks great and hoping she takes off vertically once the light cycle hits. I pinched the 2 lower branches to provide support during the upward movement. If she heals well I will continue on upper levels.

Tripled the amount of nutrients last night as she took well to the low dose I started last week. Holy moly what a difference. Multiple sites popping from the inner part of the plant. Going to keep tying down for another week or 2 then I plan to release the ties, defoliate, and flip to flower.

When I get high all I want to do is trim Herbie up!!! Gotta let it be for a few more days. I am doing another round of LST to get the lower colas more light exposure. Anyone have thoughts on topping more than once? Update: got stoned last night and decided to trim to expose growing cola sites to direct light. Red= functioning sites Blue= newly exposed sites

Unwound the LST last night as the lower branches have made there way to the top. What a difference!!!! Vertical movement and gorgeous fan leaves.

Wonderful structure it’s building. Keeping everything held down for a couple of more days. At least until those bottom branches reach out a little higher. Another trim coming next week. Bottom pic is the family photo.

Continuing LST for the next couple of days as I have had some pretty positive results. Multiple branches from each lower node beginning to surface. Nice little shrub in the making.

First haircut!!!! Lots of research on topping and training before I carefully trimmed it up. Watered and right back into the tent for a full 16 of light. Update: had to move some things around as Herbie will be introduced to 3 new sisters! Planning on keeping the tent when I switch to flowering unless I can get all 4 plants flipped at the same time.

More pronounced fan leaves and some little mini one coming in on the lower nodes. I have slight indications that this is female but I’m not quite sure if the timeframe is right. Going to power through the weekend with the plans for the first haircut in either 3 or 4 days.

Man I cannot seem to get this temp to drop. Messed around with the height of the fan and LED but to no avail. Herbie seems to be thriving in the warm climate though. Going to leave one end of the tent cracked open to see if that will release some of the heat and have this plant really take off.

Whoa! Herbie is in the come up!!! Tent has been running high temp so I gave Herbie a little wind source to cool him off and keep the stalk sturdy. 2 solid nodes and more pronounced fan leaves makes for some healthy growth.

Little homie blew up with the new light source! Healthy and producing short nodes so hoping for 2 things: 1. That Herbie is a female and 2. That I can keep it to a short and bushy grow.

Took well to his first 8hours of sleep. Got the chance to exchange my LEDs and get him on his first big boy sun cycle. Going to look into starting a nutrient cycle starting next week. Herbie is going to hit the gym!

Time to domesticate the little guy. We had some fun times outdoors but it’s time we give you a luxury home. Beginner set up but a nice home. Better “sunlight” for my boy is on the way!
