I’m still not happy with the internal density of this plant. Since removing the scrog it has contracted severely. Tie downs are just not enough. I had to go in and remove a few bud sites that were touching their neighbors. I may just take one day with this plant and remove all that is necessary instead of picking at it each day. Hopefully this won’t compromise the harvest.

I had to remove the Scrog. The netting was growing into the buds and I didn’t want it to compromise the harvest. This was fine for a day as the plant stayed spread out, but the next day it contracted. The interior was very dense and I was worried about bud rot down the road. I decided to defoliate a bit and tie down and it seems better now. I may need to defoliate or remove interior bud sites if the air flow is restricted. Roughly 3-4 weeks u til harvest.

3rd week of flower. Defoliated today (removed most lower fan leaves and most of the top ones). I will allow it to grow out now, only tucking if it’s getting way above the other colas. I’m counting around 35 bud sites that will be significant.
