Day: 111

Fed today and switched to bloom nutrients. Probably a little late in the game but what the hell! With the light burn and the underfeeding I’ve done in the past I was nervous to switch. 1100ppm 5.75ph

Fed today 1100ppm. 5.8ph and run off at 700ppm

Kpgnomad How do you decide when to flush?

Niktron I’m waiting for the trick ones to change. There are some great videos on YouTube that explains how to do this. I’m also a big fan of the information on growweedeasy.com

Day: 99

Watered today. 5.8 ph and ppm is down. She’s fattened up a lot lately.

Nolaboyy18 Awsome job ma

Niktron Thanks! I’m pretty happy with how things are shaping up. It’s small, but dense. It’s nice to know things can get a little wonky and still bounce back.

Day: 68

Watered 6.0 ph and fed. She’s really using up her nutrients quickly these days.

HerdieDerdie Tried top-dressing with fish bone meal? I found it to be wonderfully efficient in adding a good load of nutrients to depleted soil. Just sprinkle a couple tsps on top and mix it up into the top layer of soil then water. Test the runoff water for pH, but if you’re already at a pH of 6, should be fine. Just adjust accordingly. I did it twice to my first grow after a bad bout of severe nute burn and he (ended up being male womp womp) really bounced back.

Day: 62

Trimmed all the brown out. She’s really recovering well.

Day: 60

Watered and fed today. 6.1ph 800ppm Seeing lots of recovery from the nutrient deficiency.

Day: 53

Watered today but should have fed. My ppm is low and it looks like it has a deficiency of some sort. Ph 6

Day: 46

Watered today @ 5.6 ph Run off still climbing @ 7.3 ph Emptied and cleaned my tray today, hoping it’s something in the tray that is the issue. Did find a little green algae under the pot. Not sure if this is an issue.

Day: 44

Water and fed lightly today. Some trimming and stretching. Water in at: 5.5 ph 490ppm Run off at: 7.1ph ! 800ppm Still not sure if I have an issue with my ph. Run off has been consistently climbing.

Water ph 5.6 Ppm 670 Trimmed some fan leaves and LST

Day: 40

+1

Watered today ph 5.5 and still getting high 6.9 when I ph my run off. Ppm is around 700. Trimmed more fan leaves and tied everything down again. About 1 to 2 inches of new growth in the last two days!

Day: 38

Fed and watered today. Ph 5.8 and run off still high at 6.6. Stretched everything out as I have some side branches getting ahead of my main cola. Trimmed out some fan leaves that were in the way.

Lemiwinks Looking good

Niktron Thanks! She seems like she’s picking up the pace.

Day: 35

+2

Oh ya!! Look at all those future colas! Watered today at 5.8ph. I have been checking the ph of the run off and I end up at about 6.5. Is this a problem? Run off at 600ppm I have switched back to 24 hr light cycle this week because it’s been cold here and I’m able to better manage my temp. Lots of LST including tucking all of my fan leaves which seems to be paying off. FIMing doesn’t seem to have split my main cola but seems to have given the bud sites underneath time to stretch out. Next time I might try to be a little more aggressive with my FIM to see if I can get that top to spread.

Day: 31

+1

Watered today but forgot to check my ph after blindly lowering it the usual amount. Checked run off after and it was a little high at 6.5. Ppm is sitting nice at 500.

Day: 28

Today was an exciting day! Watered, FIMed, and tied back everything. She is recovering for nutrient burn and colour has returned with some of the fastest growth I’ve seen so far. Ph 5.7 Ppm still high Temp and Rh in good form

Day: 25

Just water today. 5.8ph and tested run off at 860ppm so I’ve certainly feed too rich. The plan is to wait out the nutrient burn and only water until I am getting consistent darker growth. Plant’s still growing which is great. It’s into its 4th node and I was planning on FIMing soon, but I may forgo it now that I have this issue. If anybody know if I’m still ok to FIM I’d love to hear from you.

FTGrower Water normal or a little more but ONLY water. No nutes. Excessive water will help wash out the extra nutes. Just don’t overwater to much. Should be fine to FIM soon tho.

Niktron Thanks!

Day: 23

Just watered today. Ph 5.8. If anyone has any advise regarding feeding would be appreciated. If you see the last comment in my previous post someone said I should be dialling back my nutrients. Low and behold I have a bit of browning and lightening on some leaves today. Following the directions on the bag, but maybe I’m feeding to early?

GrowerKC Run 5.8 ph water (and cal/mag) only this next watering time. The nute levels (salts) are getting too high. Coco will hold on to nutes because it so porous. You need to dilute the stored concentration. I use a feed, water, water cycle. You can see the results on my page. Tip: plants in Coco benefit from added calcium and magnesium because coco has cations that will bind with calcium and magnesium and keep it from the plants.

Niktron @growerkc thanks! Really appreciate the feedback.

tristanstree Has your plant started to smell yet?

Fed today using Mega Crop (9-6-17) diluted in 5.4ph. Humidity seems to be under control, as well as heat. Is it weird I just like sitting and staring at it?

ShelbyGT6869 Your humidity is way to low for the temp. I am running at 77F and 70% humidity and back off on your nutes

Niktron Thanks for the feed back. My humidity was up to 99% the last few days so I turned up the extraction to get rid of the moisture build up. I turn it back down because I’ve heard being around 50 or 60% is ideal. Is there a reason I would be dialing back on the nutrients?

Day: 20

Turned on my air extraction today. My RH peaked at 99% during the day and my temperature was over 30 degrees. I reset my temp monitor to see if the speed I have my extractor set to will keep everything at a reasonable level. I can always crank up the speed later in the week.

Day: 18

New growth which is exciting! Today I switched from 24hr light to 18/6. I’m thinking I have a heat problem based on colour and a little bit of browning on the first node. Would love to hear some opinions. The heat in the tent has been 29 degrees consistently.

Lemiwinks

Lemiwinks 25.0 C is ideal for Blueberry. 29C is getting into the high range.

Niktron Agreed. If I try to bring the temp down anymore I’m worried I’ll bring my humidity down to low.

Day: 14

Got some new growth happening and a little bit of hight. I watered today with a ph of 6. I checked ppm and sits at 690. No food today.

Day: 12

Minor growth. No water today. Humidity is high, temperature seems good, and has not dropped to low over night.

Day: 11

+1

Some growth today. Reset my thermometer because I was getting low temperature readings, but I suspect this is related to my power issues. Plan to water with no feed tomorrow or following day.

Day: 10

Yesterday I realized my power for everything was connected to the switch I turned off when I left the room. Fixed that and today thing are looking much better. Better colour and more growth.

Day: 9

Started seed using the wet paper towel method. Tap root was about 1” before planting on day 7. Day 7 I watered with ph 6.0 and no nutrients. Today on day nine I watered with ph balanced/nutrient mix. Using Mega Crop fertilizer (9-6-17). This is my first grow, so comments are welcome!

Jtroc675 Next grow, try starting your seedlings in smaller containers like a solo cup and only water when the container feels light when you lift it. Happy growing and good luck!

Niktron Hey thanks! What’s your reasoning for transplanting? Just curious because I’ve heard not to transplant Autos.
