It’s been a while since my last update, in that time my plants tops got pretty fucked but fortunately the buds are growing. The top leaves are pretty shitty looking but the bottoms are still green. I’m gonna continue growing her out as there isn’t much that can be done now. Idk how bud will turn out, but I’m definitely running pmb again to see what she does when she’s not sick. Temperature and humidity are pretty dialed in which is awesome. But other than that not much going on just checking her daily and removing leaves that are done. I know that this affected yield but as with my first grow this is an experiment and exercise in learning. Next round will be shortly after this is done.

Day: 125(from seed) Week: 2 day 6 🌺 Temp: 73.2 degrees 🌡 Humidity: 37.2% rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. The temperature and humidity are are consistent. As far as updates go #1 she’s looking rough but i think I figured out what was going on. So the iron deficiency was the result of nutrient lockout due to my soil ph being really high. I ended up flushing her twice in the last few days and noticed her color coming back, but damage has occurred. Even with that she is flowering and hopefully she’ll recover and i can still get a decent harvest.

Day: 118(from seed) Week: 1 day 6(flower 🌺) Temp: 84.8 degrees Humidity: 36.6% rh Currently it’s 6:53 pm. I had a little setback…I noticed a few days ago that all the tops of #1 turned a bright yellow color. Then I realized since it’s been so long in veg I probably used up all the nitrogen, makes sense why the bottom leaves have been yellowing. I took care of it by top dressing some organic amendments in the soil. I noticed that since then the tops have been getting less school bus yellow and some green back. I’m not too worried about it since it’s only gonna need n in the beginning of flower. Otherwise I’ve noticed she is getting a bit taller during the stretch. Other than that I’ve just been giving her some organic water ins. Temps and humidity have still been pretty consistent.

Day: 113(from seed) Week: 1(flower 🌺) Temp: 81 degrees Humidity: 60% rh Currently it’s 8:14 pm. Its finally time for #1 to wake up from her nap 😴. Today is officially day 1 of flower 🌸. Not to much going on, i got the trellis nets setup and have started to weave # 1 into the lower net. Other than that I’ll possibly have to get a dehum setup.

Day: 109(from seed) Week: 16 Temp: 74.3 degrees Humidity: 46.3% rh Currently it’s 6:32 pm. The temperature and humidity are still pretty stable. Not a lot going on rn #1 is still in veg, but will be finally going to flower 🌺 this weekend 💪🏾. I just watered yesterday with my usual organic water ins and also top dressed with some bokashi. I also used my lst clips to spread her out a bit. Otherwise not much going on currently

Day: 104(from seed) Week: 15 Temp: 87.3 degrees Humidity: 37.5 % rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. The temperature and humidity seems to be in line. There really isn’t much going on the lady is on autopilot for now. I’m currently still in veg and am really close to flipping to flower 🌺, but after setting up this new tent i realized the bottom scrog net holes are extremely too small(1.5” squares) for proper weaving of plant during stretch without damaging the plant 🪴 . So I’ve ordered a replacement that is adjustable and should make 3.25” squares for the new net, at that point I’ll flip. Other than that will be giving her another gallon of water 💦 ins.

Day: 97(from seed) Week: 14 Temp: 90 degrees Humidity: 27.4% rh Currently it’s 7:34 pm. The temperature and humidity are not good rn because I’ve been setting up the new tent. Today will be a minor update just put my taller 2x4 up and that was like an all day project. Will be posting some before and after pics of the much needed defoliation. I’ll also be taking clones and also giving her 36 hours of dark before the flip to induce flower 🌺.

Day: 95(from seed) Week: 14 Temp: 78.1 degrees Humidity: 37.1% rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. It’s been a while since my last update, not much has changed, i have been neglecting pmb # 1 a bit. She’s super bushy and needs a defoliation bad very dense canopy. I have yet to send her to flower 🌸, but hopefully will be soon. I just gotta find some time for defoliation and using my lst clips to train her outward. Other than that overall the temps and humidity have been pretty consistent. I watered her with a gallon and a half of some organic water ins and will probably give her another 1.5 gallons in a few days as she’s drinking pretty fast. Also you’ll probably see another update later this week after defoliation.

Day: 81(from seed) Week: 12 Temp: 82.8 degrees Humidity: 31.64% rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. The temps and humidity have stayed consistent. Plant is bushing out, but will be defoliating to thin her out and get her ready for flower. I believe i will probably be introducing flower 🌺 by August. I will probably also give her 36 hours of dark to induce flower. Other than that the lone girl is getting bigger in her new 7 gallon final home.

Day: 73 (from seed) Week: 11 Temp: 84.4 degrees Humidity: 35.5 % rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. It’s been a while since the last update. To start my #2 pheno of the pmb is done😢. Its ok tho #1 is still kicking. Even tho we had a heat wave last weak the remaining lady survived, temps inside tent remained pretty consistent same with humidity. I transplanted #1 to her final pot a 7 gallon rain science grow bag. I wanna give her maybe a week more then i think i’ll flip. Have been giving her my usual water ins along with a ipm foliar of dr zymes. Other than that not much else going on.

Day: 66(from seed) Week: 10 Temp: 68.5 degrees Humidity: 60. 1% rh Currently it’s 6:26 am. I’m a little sad to report had some mishap happen to pheno # 2 of the purple monkey balls. Apparently she got accidentally left really close to bbq grill and all its smoke 💨 which pretty much killed almost all of the fan leaves 🍁. 😖🤬. The only thing that may be a plus is that the tops are green and survived but she’s gonna look ruff for a while. Other than that # 1 is ok and getting bigger. Hopefully # 2 will recover

I watered the plants 🌱 with the usual water ins I’ve been using for veg at about a half gallon each. Also I did notice both the ladies getting a bit taller 😁. Other than that not much else going on.

I’m noticing plants getting slightly bigger, but for their age I would’ve thought they’d be a lot bigger 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️, just a thought. They are healthy besides still spraying for pm for a few more days. They look fine was just hoping for faster growth. Other than that nothing else to report.

Day: 52(from seed) Week: 8 Temp: 79.6 degrees Humidity: 34.6% rh Currently it’s 6:02 pm. The temperature and humidity inside the tent seem to be pretty stable, but do fluctuate a bit 👍🏾. Im seeing tops get bigger and grow up also looks like they are starting to bush out just a bit. Other than that i did notice a little powder mildew on both plants but have been spraying with a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water, seems to be working and glad i caught it early.

Day: 48(overall) Week: 7 Temp: 83.5 degrees Humidity: 32% rh Currently it’s 8:47 pm. It was hot af outside and has been the last few days. It was 102 outside the tent earlier and inside of my the tent temps are a lot cooler. I’m starting to see the smaller nodes get bigger so we’ve got some growth. Other than that things are pretty chill.

Day: 44(overall) Week: 7 Temp: 77.9 degrees Humidity: 33.3% rh Currently it’s 6:16 pm. The plants 🪴 have been transferred to 2 gallon pots. Neither plant was root bound, but the roots i did see were healthy n white. Temps and humidity have been in range for the most part just hoping these ladies get bigger faster. I did notice some of the smaller tops starting to get bigger tho👍🏾. Other than that I rearranged the tent a bit as i just installed the x3 330 growcraft light. Definitely brighter.

Other than that I think i’m gonna up pot these plants 🌱 to 2 gallons before i drop them n the 7 gallon. I also sprayed the ladies with some of the organic water ins.

Day: 40(overall) Week: 6 Temp: 78 degrees Humidity: 34.5 % rh Currently it’s 6:10 pm. The humidifier was off for some reason 😖 but temps have been pretty solid as of late. The girls are looking good and getting stretched out. Took the lst clips off and they seem to be maintaining the 90 degree bend of main stalk. Starting to see other colas get bigger. As of right now looks like both plants 🪴now have 2 leading colas each and more under getting bigger. I haven’t topped at all just bending n stretching so far. Now I’m just looking for the plants to get a bit bigger so i can transplant to a bigger pot. Also one other thing I’m noticing is both plants now have some lower leaves that have started turning yellow and are dying off. I’m not too worried just an observation, besides there still new growth.

Day: 38(overall) Week: 6 Temp: 71.7 degrees Humidity: 39 % rh Currently it’s 6:19 pm. The temperature has been pretty cool the last few days, so I haven’t had to use the ac. As far as the plants I put lst clips on both and also tied down the top of both. I noticed on both plants some of the lower tops are starting to come up. Other than that, i gave the ladies some organic water ins. Pretty much, things have been smooth sailing.

Day: 36(overall) Week: 6 Temp: 75.2 degrees Humidity: 30.5 % rh Currently it’s 6:40 pm. I’ve got a few updates….i setup my ac to the tent and inkbird temperature controller, so it’s automated and tent environment seems to be getting dialed in now. Also purchased a bigger humidifier. Other than than I’ve started some lst training using plastic lst clips. Other than that plants are getting bigger n growing.

Day: 34(overall) Week: 5 Temp: 88.8 degrees Humidity: 28.9 % rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. The heat is still a factor but not as hot as it has been. By next week should have ac hooked up n hopefully tent temps dialed in better. Also attempting to keep up with humidity with this humidifier sux, i also need to upgrade humidifier asap. Ive filled it at least twice already today 😖. I was also planning on using some lst clips i bought but node spacing is super tight n don’t wanna mess up any colas. Other than these issues plants are still growing just not very fast right now. For now I’m just bending the plants down to expose the other colas.

Day: 32(overall) Week: 5 Temp: 94.3 degrees Humidity: 26.7 % rh Currently it’s 6:13pm. It hot 🥵 af n the ladies are ok but i will definitely be setting up an ac for the tent this weekend. Other than that waiting for ladies to get thirsty so i can water. Still need to get a larger humidifier. Will probably start some lst training soon as well. Also noticed that the 2 bottom leaves 🍃 on #1 are starting to fade yellow.

Day: 30(overall) Week: 5 Temp: 94 degrees Humidity: 31.5 % rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. It’s been a few days since my last update, but ladies are growing. I’m still fighting humidity and now just recently some heat but plants are thriving otherwise. Oh also i think my girls have started early veg….so I transplanted to 1 gallon pots. Roots weren’t root bound at all, but were healthy and white. Looking forward to the next few weeks so i can get these girls in shape for the flip.

Day: 23(overall) Week: 4 Temp: 79.3 degrees Humidity: 24.7% rh Currently it’s 6:00 pm. The temperature is is ok at 79 but my humidity is @ 24 %😖. Plants seem ok otherwise tho. The humidifier is on also, so I’m thinking maybe put the dome back on but they don’t seem to mind the low humidity 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Solo cups are super light so I’ll be mixing up some more of my organic water ins. Girls leaves are slightly droopy. Other than that not much change. They do look healthy though.

Day: 14(overall) Week: 2 Temp: 73.8 degrees Humidity: 58.1% rh Currently it’s 7:12 pm. The ladies were given some organic water in inputs(recyclesil, aloe vera powder, freeze dried coconut and some microbes)about 2 days ago. Its the end of week 2 and they are definitely growing bigger every day. Other than that not too much happening. Also even though they look a bit funky right now both girls are working on their second set of true leaves.

Week 2 day 9. Temps and rh vary but for the most part stay in range. Currently in the tent its 85 degrees and 40% rh. Both plants are growing and getting bigger. I’ve noticed that #2 seems to be growing mutated leaves but is growing so I’m not too worried about it. Other than that just easy sailing.

Day 5 of seedling stage....I’m rethinking the mono crop thing and probably gonna put some other plants(clones) in there also to fill out the space. Currently temps inside the dome are 78.1 degrees and an rh of 56.0. Not a lot going on but the ladies are chugging along.

Day 3 - i checked on seedlings this morning and noticed pmb # 3 still hadn’t sprouted. Dug up seed and noticed tap root got smaller. I pulled seed out and looks like she died 😢. Will be either popping another seed or adding a clone to garden when seedlings get a little bigger/stronger. Also will be looking to add ac to grow soon to dial in grow tent more and keep environment more consistent. Other than that seedlings #1 and #2 are looking good.

Just planted 3 purple monkey balls seeds from Mendocino farms. I’ve smoked this strain before and looking forward to growing these girls from seed. I germinated seeds(4/22/2021),using a 18 hr soak then in paper towel. Just planted today in an organic peat based mix. Watered enough to wet soil. Will add humidifier to bring humidity up. Temps @ 2:24 pm pst 81.2 degrees/ 51.8 % rh
