So I decided to try out defoliation on this grow. I’m a bit skeptical but I’ve heard that it can increase yields in certain conditions. My plants were covered in fan leaves causing only the top colas to increase in size. Hopefully this works out. This strain is supposedly a 9-10 week flower.

Well I found out today that I had a nutrient lock out from over feeding. The ppm was around 1700. Unfortunately I wasn’t testing the ppm of my run off. I flushed the plants down to 560 ppm which is low normally, but with snowstorm ultra the uptake is doubled (so you run half the ppm you normally would). I’m definitely going to be testing the ppm of my runoff every time now. Lesson learned.

I added a little Humboldt County’s Own Sonic Bloom, Humboldt Countys Own Snow Storm, and Terpinator for the first time last night. I’m going to be keeping the PPMs low (around 500) until I see how the plants react to it.
