First Grow Attempt
Two plants that I purchased on a whim from a local grow shop. I bought them as seedlings but was informed that they began from seeds, not clones. They are thriving in a 2x2 AC Infinity tent with all their tech connected to the AI controller.

Day: 125
Harvest

Chopped and trimmed. The light is on just for the pic. Temp is about 66-68F and humidity is between 55-60. No light and just the exhaust fan going.

Day: 122
Flowering

Checked trichomes and there’s about 10-15% amber on the taller colas. Only water for the past week. Thinking it’s ready for harvest in a couple days.
HealingHands420 Still a lot of new pistils growing so I’d leave it for a week. She’s still trying to pack on weight for you.
combatmedic81 I would have to agree with the above. Lots of white pistils still showing, I would give her time
gungud10 I’ll hold off then. Thanks for the input. Should I not mind the amount of amber trichs as much then??

Some purpling on the leaves… nutrient issue or genetics?? Or something else?
. Both genetic and nutritional, she’s very deficient based on the yellow but yes the purple is in her dna. Color shouldn’t be that faded so early on but nearing the end of flower it would be okay.
gungud10 I reached out to some fellow growers locally and they all said she needs to be fed. I hit them with some tiger bloom Thursday and their color has retuned to normal upon checking them today. Tricomes on the taller colas are mostly amber. Lower ones are cloudy with a couple amber here and there. I think she’s ready for harvest
Day: 108
Flowering

The hairs went from white to amber in like two days.

combatmedic81 Far from it. I would say you have 3-4 weeks left
jschoenhaar DEF. Not ready to chop yet. At least 3 weeks to go
gungud10 Awesome thanks for clarifying!

Are the shorter, smaller buds going to be useful?
TerpeneGalore I’m getting an outside led grow lamp to face the lower nugs to mature, when the time comes. You should do that
gungud10 I have the full spectrum supplemental light strips that I used during veg but then swapped them out for the uv strips for flower. Maybe I’ll keep the full spectrum ones on during flower too next grow.
Day: 102
Flowering

At what week do you stop feeding and start flushing? These are coming into the 5th week of flower with a couple amber hairs showing on the taller colas.
combatmedic81 I would say you have 2-3 weeks of feed left then a week of flushing.

Things are getting a little sugary

Day: 94
Flowering

Was gone for a couple days so they are a little droopy from not being watered. Watered and fed now but the buds are developing nicely.

Day: 86
Flowering

Did some defoliation and lollipopping. Open to criticism as I think it looks awful now. I much prefer a bushier look 😜 This process however made me reconsider the tent size. Might bump it up to the 2x4 next go around. Buds are looking okay though.

cbud4 Maybe try lowering the light closer and pull up with it as it looks like these stretched out looking for it . Keep going and growing!
Day: 85
Flowering

Haven’t had much time to devote to defol yet. Hope to get around to it this weekend. Buds are coming in nicely it appears. Would it be proper to cut off the flowering stems that haven’t made it above the netting?

Day: 79
Flowering

Side shot of the plants. Almost 3ft in height at the tallest node from soil level. I don’t think I did the SCROG net properly but it’s staying where it’s at now. Curious how you determine which bud sites to keep vs ones you trim away to reduce larf.

combatmedic81 I strip them when starting flower. I only leave the tops. If it were me I would thin out that lower stuff
gungud10 Are you cutting off just the fan leaves? Or do you cut the smaller branches that are barely peeking out the sides? How much of the top fan leaves are leaving alone?
combatmedic81 When I flip and strip I strip all the way till the ends. I cut the smaller branches that will never get any light due to how low they are and all the fans too. I only leave one or two fans at the end of the main branches. If you don’t want to get that severe you could just clean up the lower stuff and thin them out a bit .
Day: 78

Peeked in for a feeding and noticed this. Are these the beginning of buds?? 🥲

jschoenhaar Those white hairs are the beginning of flower. It’s girl!
Rastaman grows When did you flip lights?
gungud10 @rastaman I went to 12/12 exactly 8 days ago.

Day: 76
Flowering

First week of flower. Defoliated a bit more lollipop technique applied. Both plants are stretching perfectly. Turned down the light intensity as it seemed the tallest nodes were showing signs of light burn (bottom right in photo)

NALO4L 🔥 🔥 🔥
jschoenhaar Bottom richt looks like a manganese deficiency. Otherwise great looking girls
gungud10 @Jschoenhaar You could be right. I showed this pic to my local grow shop and they said it might be light burn so I ran with it. I have no clue what I’m doing tbh. Is this something I should try to fix? I just started FF Tiger bloom with the latest watering.

Growth seems to have slowed. Started FF big grow nutes at half strength and a splash of cal-mag. Hoping to get a bit more height out them before flipping.
