Been away for a week on vacation. Had a friend water my girls. Started week 8 of flower yesterday. Can’t believe what a difference a week makes. They have swollen! The one on the right is fading more than the left. Theoretically, two more weeks until chop. Would you give one more feed? Using organic dry nutes which take time to break down. I’ve read flush not necessary with dry organics.

We are about 3 weeks or so from the chop according to breeder’s description. Of course it’s the trichomes that will dictate that for sure. First sign of fungus gnats today, f@ck!!! Worked in some Diatomaceous earth as well as breaking out the mosquitoe dunks and yellow pest strips. A least the little bastards showed near the end. A rare annoyance in my experience but no one is immune to the little buggers.

Things are going well since resolving a nitrogen deficiency issue. They’re starting week five of flower, really happy with how things are going. This is my first grow with this new light so I think that may have something to do with it. I have to keep it at 75% and lower it right now because we’re in a bit of a heat wave and I am having trouble keeping the temperature in my tent down to an acceptable level.

It’s day 26 of flower. Things are looking pretty good. I did hit a bit of a speed bump a week ago or so as I noticed a nitrogen deficiency beginning. That’s the thing when you use dry amendments. They used up the nutrients sooner than expected based on manufacturer’s recommendations so I had to react quickly to correct it. You don’t need any of this kind of thing during flower. Just adding more doesn’t work because these dry amendments take about a week or so to break down. I had to some liquid nutes to give them a bump. Gonna change my method with the dry amendments. Not gonna top dress once a month as recommended but actually divided by four and do it weekly so it they overlap. This should take the guesswork out of it and also not run into this situation again.

Flipped to 12/12 about 11 days ago. I usually give it three days or so before I start counting time in flower as I’ve read it takes a bit of time for the hormones to get going once the lights change. Wonder if any of you out there read that as well?. First run with my new Photontek 465 Pro, plants love it. I could do more under it but two plants seem to be more than what I usually need.

Bud sites are forming!! Gave them a light foliar spritz of sea kelp. They seem to love it. Do it once a week or so.

Today I moved the girls into a bigger apartment. Went from 1 gal to 5 gal pots. Looking a little droopy but that’s par for the course after transplant. Going to Europe for a month, my daughter will be coming to tend these girls, I’m not sure if they’ll survive. She’s a bit on the lazy side. 🤞🏻

Move them from 4 inch starter cups to 1 gallon pots and running three of the five bars of my light at 50%. Love this Photontek technology. Really allows you to manage your energy usage. Final home will be in 5 gallon pots in probably three weeks or so

Two are my GSC and the other two I’m starting for a friend. Out from humidity dome today, small drink of water and under the 465 Pro. Running the light with only three bars of the five bars at 50% at this point. Probably could even get away with two.
