Day: 22

Soiled base is loving the transplant that was needed to be done a week ago. DWC taking in last nights feed and the roots are just pouring out. I’m getting excited

My first post. I’m trying new Canuck seeds Gorilla Zkittles and doing DWC vs soil based. I’ve been busy so you can see I’ve just transplanted. DWC is rooted and well on there way. Updates to come

BigSluice Yes stay tuned bud. I have Mars hydro 1000w (x2). I’m using the same nutrients for both so it will be interesting to see once the soil catches up how they will both turn out.

Water change and first topping of the DWC girls. Soil based although behind is rooting well and getting nice and green as they grow. Loving the Remo nutrients super charged kit I’ll leave remo kelp out for rest of veg as it’s seaweed based and can cause problems

mystrain420 Your running a sterile res? If so how are you keeping your temps cool in it?

BigSluice These tents are in my unfinished basement with 2” Foam (R10) under to them to keep them off the cold floor. So this time of year they run on the cold side. I’m trying to keep the water clean and sterile as possible so last night a did a water change PH balanced and closed to the same temps. This morning they looked even better with the roots being cleaned off in new water. I’m going to the hydro store to buy a solution a I can add to the water and might not have to water change so much. Root rot is the worst thing with DWC.

mystrain420 Are you using r.o water? I see ppl use h2o2 in a sterile res a lot. I have a dwc plant flowering next to my coco plant flowering if u check my last update. I been using beneficial bacteria instead of going sterile. What are you buying from the hydro shop?
