Brought to you by VISION SEEDS. Both plants grown in 3 gal plastic pots w/ MG -jiffy mix soil and in a foil lined closet with 400 watts of metal Halide / Hps batwing fixture w/ Vivosun dimmable ballast set to Super lumens. They were transplanted out of 4” pots to larger 3 gal. Ones w/ great success, on day 13. Currently running a 22/2 light cycle.

Untamegorilla31 How is it? And tell me about the gyo.green, have u used them? How long does it take for the seeds to reach u? Been wanting to order but see everything is pretty much overseas. So kinda hesitant on whats real and whats not.

Day 8 of drying, I wet trimmed them due to a high RH in my drying tent and expect to hit the Jar this week, I might throw in a few days of brown bag for good measure. Curing/Drying are the most important part of growing your buds into maturity. Here’s some of my harvest

The plant is currently—-whacked! Yes indeed Harvest time is upon us and I feel like a kid at Christmas but not quite because I still have at least 2 weeks of Dry/Cure time to go. But it feels like a load off! It’s such a good stress, growing is. So here’s the current situation

Just noticed that most of the hairs have turned dark so I’m flushing! It was like overnight darkening of those hairs. I’m trying to hit the harvest window perfectly. How do you know when they are “Ready”?? Anyone have a thought to share on ‘when is the moment you say OK this shit is ripe and ready!??

Tyhudson24 Get a 60x microscope and study the follicles. If you want more of a head high then you want to harvest when you have about 20% murky and 80% clear. If you want more of a body high the ratio should be 60-40 in favor of murky. Be careful not to wait too long because they begin to lose potency once they begin to go from murky to amber. Which I’m afraid is what might have happened to you here.
Tyhudson24 Also if your top coalas are turning faster than some lower down you can take cuttings at different times. However, beware, cutting too much too fast will shut the plant down and cause all the rest of the buds to rush. So go slowly and monitor your plant when it comes to harvesting.

Untamegorilla31 Looks great! Would u know where i can get seeds from. Doesnt have to be this strain. Idc what strain just a decent one. Im new to this and currently growing first plant. I havent had one last this long because they always died.
Millhouse52 Thank you and a great place to deal with is GYO.GREEN Seedbank, they are one of the few that will sell you just One seed or a hundred and deal with American credit cards. Huge selection too so check them out. I recommend an autoflower if you’re even not new to this.
Untamegorilla31 What exactly does autoseed mean? Like its gonna grow no matter what? Im new to growing but only trying to do a few plants. This is the first time getting a plant passed 2 weeks lol

LST still working great, all the bud sites are up towards the light and free from blockages. Buds are just beginning to form. One plant has a little nute burn from the wrong fert. So I ordered “Big Bud”, “ Beastie Budz” “Cal-Mag” and Tiger Bloom. Gonna do this right! High P-K, low N. Before I was using high nit. Fert that caused burning and some leaf curl. My AK auto seems immune to everything and takes whatever ya throw at it but the Widow is sensitive, like a female. I like the Butch Bitch AK! She’s a stinker though!🤭😷got my house jumpin.

Millhouse52 Thanks! I’m using 400 watt HIGH pressure sodium right now. I just switched from metal halide. Thinking about adding a grow CFL underneath to take up any darkness.

Decided to do some LST and give my bud sites more light , well it worked! They all came up to the canopy as if it was meant to happen. Not sure how long to leave the tops tied that way but they seem to have froze in that position

Millhouse52 I also switched to HPS from Metal Halide. The red spectrum helps in budding.

One is short and fat, and the other is tall and skinny. Imma call em Ren and Stimpy! Nice growth. Can anyone tell me why the widow leaves (right) are so skinny and the cerated edge turns up? They get daily water (once) and have had nutrients (lightly), maybe it’s the strain? Or can light too close cause this?

14”s tall, 10 wide, for widow, and AK is 10” tall, 14” wide! I have a camera set up on them, and if you fast forward only one hour, you can see growth/movement. This is such a fun experience. Also I can count the buds. One plant is Sativa, the other Indica.

Preflower budding has begun! I found white pistil like hairs and extreme growth in the last couple days. You can almost see them growing, it’s so fast. Smelling good too
