I purposely haven’t posted in a while to see the progress. we just went through a major heat wave, but they are still holding strong. all I did was water consistently every 2 to 3 days, and fed with bloom 0-5-4 today. obviously since it’s a 100 W light this will go over 60 days, but I do not mind.

GrNadeGrade 💣

GrNadeGrade 💣 Defoliating an Auto-flower to this extreme extent during flowering is not ideal, and may negatively impact your overall yield. Leaves are solar panels, and removing so much stresses the plant 🪴

McBuds

McBuds oh good to hear! is it NO defoliation or just slight defoliation every now and then

Day: 46

before defoliation; the fan leaves on the girl in mid flower are super frosty already. The others are stretching like crazy

Pheno 1 (First 2 photos): in flower and budding nicely Pheno 2 (Third photo): in pre flower. mostly just pistils but still great growth Pheno 3 (Fourth photo): still veg-ing but still growing nicely. with foliage and top sights bombarding the center * we’re defoliating the fan leaves from each pheno about every 2.5 - 3 days *

letting them grow. starting to see flower pistils on some nodes, but want to wait a little longer before we officially start calling it the pre-flower stage. Also did a major defoliation in all the girls.

Soil was bone dry so we just gave it some water. Some phenos are growing bigger and faster than the other phenos, but they’re all still growing nicely.

We watered with PH’d (6.1) floramicro water. we also decided to top the smallest of the 3, just to see what would happen to the yield. The bottom foliage is growing quickly and the top node is directed towards the sun.

Day: 16

We snipped the big fan leaves to improve bottom canopy growth.

Mainly a visual update: We removed the humidity domes on day 6. We are now trying to maintain 55-65% humidity and these girls’re gonna need water soon.

Day: 5

We made and started using DIY humidity domes made by water bottles on day 3, and watered them with dechlorinated tap water PH’d to 6.3 (Cultivation Nation-PH DOWN by Fox Farm). Besides that, nothing else has been done.

The girls officially broke soil. we’ll just continue to water when the soil is dry.

Day: 1

We added 50% Fox Farm Happy Frog soil and 50% Fox Farm Ocean Forest while adding mycorrhizae, worm castings, and bone meal to each fabric pot and mixed. We then pre moistened the soil before carefully inserting the tap rooted seeds. Now begins the 18/6 light cycle. A humidifier was added to keep the humidity high. We later decide to put the humidifier outside of the tent to easily regulate temperature and humidity levels.

Day: 0

We placed the seeds on a moist paper towel (regular room temperature tap water). Then we placed the paper towel in a zip-lock bag to begin the germination phase.
