Summer 18

What is going on here? My leaves look like they have deformities and the one isn’t getting taller.

Day: 14

Not sure what is happening. Finding my water is high in ph 7.8, but soil is reg at 5.5-5.8 also my light cycle is 18/6 when do I adjust that? What week do i switch my light to flowering? HID lights

wiffybead You can flip the lights whenever you want. Generally the longer you veg the larger your finished plant will be. If you want giant plants veg for longer ie one to two plus months. If you want quick turnaround, wait til she is at least 3 weeks old. For the most part these plants won’t be mature enough to actually go into flower until at least 3 weeks. Any earlier and it will just keep vegging. Also consider how many plants you have. Overcrowded grow spaces attract bugs, mold, and limit light penetration.

Wiser_greenery

Wiser_greenery They look pretty young to flush. But the high ph is most likely your culprit. How much water do you give them

Spacedog81 I barely water them because the soil stays wet for a very long time. When I do water them I use enough till I see it coming out the bottom. Today i gave them a little smidge of water from the Brita filter at a ph of 6.3. I put worm castings around the small one first.

KiOs_Funky First mistake soil growers make is using too big of a container. I always use the disposable bags when I grow soil/soiless. 1/2gallon bag until they hit 9” in height. Then clip the top node off and transplant into 2gallon bag. Wait until they hit 18” and then trim off the bottom half of the plant and cut down two nodes from every top and transplant into a 5 gallon container and place under a Scrog net and start to fill it in. If it’s not weaves through the net then it gets clipped off. Keep fans moving over the tops. Also, did you put drain holes in those 5 gallon buckets? If not you are possibly drowning your roots. Keep in mind it’s best to let your medium dry out in between watering. Invest in a RO machine. They work wonders. Next time mix dolomite lime in with your soil, extra perlite and worm castings. Then keep it simple with some organics 👍
