mvgenetics Can I ask why?

kushgod

kushgod Water temps was a huge problem for me and just the overall care for the plant was too intense for me.

sativarose Hey the tips of your plants look like they have a slight chemical burn (just fixed mine) I would dilute the next two feedings and they should be right back to normal

kushgod

kushgod I’m actually flushing this auto for harvest

plantman Are not defoliating? No offense, but it looks like you might be suffocating these girls with too many leaves.

kushgod

kushgod @plantman, I did a week ago, I don’t want to do it again, only because the recommendations for autoflowers is to cause as less stress possible. I am goin to defoliate again mid flower ?

plantman

plantman Defoliation is not exactly a “stress” factor on a plant unless you go too far. “Stress” would include chiropractic treatment, fimming, mani folding, and those kinds of things. Even auto-flowers need proper defoliation for their health. Too much vegetation (leaves), restricts the light from getting to lower branches, which causes yellowing of lower leaves, and much more. Auto’s or feminized, no matter what, each plant takes in only so much energy. If you are transferring that energy to leaves, you are taking it away from your colas and buds. Guess it depends on where you want that energy to go... Don’t get too crazy with defoliation, because when it comes to any plant, the leaves are the plant’s solar panels, so to speak, but too many leaves are not good for the plant either. I generally take a branch, keep the top 3 nodes, and leaves that go with them, and strip everything else, including smaller branches if you feel that they are too thin to support buds. You will find that they will bounce back very quickly, and now, your plant’s energy has a limited area where it will be forced to go, and it will concentrate its energy on those 3 nodes on each strong branch. Can I ask, why are you using auto’s and not feminized? Needing a quicker turnover on the grow?
