Day: 175

Correction- Overdried before the first weigh in. After a month with the humidity packs the final weight was 12oz! Very good for a 2x4 tent!

stick e fingerz Congrats 🎊

Day: 153

9oz after drying and letting the cure stabilize. Pretty happy with the yield all things considered. Just a little below my target for a 2x4 tent, but still my best grow to date. Looking forward to seeing what the fully cured smoke is like and already planning the fall grow!

48oz wet! So much easier to trim a limited number of big colas. Mainline training only from now on. Hoping to see a bit over 1/2lb once it’s all said and done.

Chop day! Trichs are getting cloudy, maybe an amber one here and there, so down they come! Trimmed buds coming soon!

Day: 137

Exactly 9 weeks since the switch was flipped. I’m no flushing gang, so ripening feed it is until the trichs cloud up or the yellowing threatens the buds! Somewhat shockingly, they’re still putting on weight!

organic_grower

organic_grower Those are some fat buds. Nice work mrbigglesworth. 👍

Day: 131

Just waiting for these girls to cloud up. Some have just started to turn. Right on schedule for the chop next weekend!

Day: 130

Ripening phase started today! Just over a week left but I’m not seeing much clouding in the trichs yet. Interested to see how they react to the ripening feed. Keeping things exactly as on the ccfc feed schedule and hoping that’s as close to right between what these two very different plants need as possible.

Day: 127

Getting down with the thiccness! I caved and started diluting the mix a bit. The curling on the left plant was just getting too bad to ignore, even though the right plant seemed to be responding better to the full strength mix. I also don’t think it can hurt to wall down by 100 EC or so per day as to not shock them when I go from 1300 to 900 for the ripening mix in a couple days. I’m already happy with the volume and density of the flowers, the growth and ripening I get over the next two weeks is just icing on the cake.

BlazinVape

BlazinVape Is this under 300w? I would be interested in your dry weight. Great grow 👌🏼

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth I will be interested in that too 😂 Yes, it’s a Mars Hydro that I got for ~$250. I’m very impressed with it so far compared to the old HID bulbs.

Day: 125

At 7 weeks of flower now. Since I’m not sure I have two of the same strain anymore, I’m going to start watching the trichs very closely in case one is ready before the nominal 9 weeks

Last week at full strength bloom feed. Finish line in sight!

Day: 120

Don’t think I’ll be needing another lens to look at the trichs anymore! Was thinking about getting one, but the 13 pro’s macro mode is a champ.

Day: 119

3 weeks to go! Smaller plant is somehow still losing color while the bigger plant remains very green in the same feed. The buds still look good, but I’ll be expecting to chop it as soon as it’s ready.

Day: 116

Added another cycle to put them at 4/day fertigation. The smaller plant was seeming kind of dry and I have not increased the frequency yet. Hopefully this will smooth out the slight but persistent burn I’m seeing.

Day: 115

Started the late bloom feed today. Probably should have cut back on the nitrogen when I had the option earlier this week. I imagine that’s what’s mostly contributing to the burnt tips. Buds are putting on some density, especially the smaller plant!

Day: 113

Buds getting thicc! Last day of mid bloom on the ccfc schedule.

Day: 111

Got the EC up to the prescribed 1200 in preparation for the move the the late bloom mix at 1300.

Day: 110

Day 33 of flowering. 3 weeks to go! Starting to see some darker hairs on the bigger plant.

Day: 109

Looking good today! I watched the irrigation happening and noticed that some some the solution didn’t have time to soak in before running down the side of the pot. Not a big deal, but my run off numbers are right where they should be, so having some not flushing the soil could be leading to dry spots. Changed the pump to split each event into two shorter pump cycles. Still had some overspill so I changed it to three cycles. Sides of the pot were dry this morning, but I’d still like to watch it run before calling it fixed

dadude

dadude Nice looking garden!! Helluva good job 👍🏼🔥🪴💯

Day: 108

I grabbed an shook one of the main stems and it’s freaking HEAVY! Bud production seems to be going along just fine. I still tried to get the EC to 1200 but only hit 1100 despite holding back with the amount of starting water. May try to boost that later this week if they lose any more greenness.

Day: 107

I would say we’re officially into the bulking period with about a month left to go. Looking forward to seeing how much weight and color they put on in that time. They’re already starting to show some purple from the cooler night temps!

Day: 106

Looking a little lighter green now. I’ll go to full strength for the last week of the mid flower mix when I refill the res tomorrow. Currently using about 9-10gal per week

HammertimeAZ

HammertimeAZ Pretty grow! Do you like this AirPots? I hear they are messy.

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth They do let some dirt out the bottoms at first, but they work great with my auto drainage system. I’m liking them better than the fabric pots for this application

Day: 104

Bulking season

Day: 103

The stretch seems to be coming to an end. The buds are starting to put on some bulk now at halfway through flowering. Looking forward to the next month!

organic_grower

organic_grower They look nice and happy. 🙏 Leafs 😂

Day: 100

Over-diluted the feed a little bit, but I think that’s going to be for the best since there was indeed a bit of tip burn showing up. I upped the amount they’re getting to improve runoff as well. This should take care of any salt buildup that could have happened if things got too dry.

Day: 98

Caliban Insanely healthy plants. Love seeing that lush canopy. Nice work.

Day: 97

+1

Really starting to see the resin forming. The smell is getting good too. Roots are continuing to thrive outside the pot

Day: 96

Put in the larger exhaust fan and put another small one on the canopy. 74 degrees and 50% humidity with the lights on now. Did another hopefully final round of defoliation. Can already tell that the little leaves on the buds are going to make the convoy very dense on their own, so I think taking off some fan leaves now will help keep the buds from getting too humid as they fill out.

purpbud

purpbud Looking great 🤤 what power level is your light on?

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth We’re at full power now. I turned it up from about 75% when I did the flip. Probably could have gone up towards the end of the veg and cut off a few days, but I’m in no rush with these

Day: 95

Buds are coming in nicely. Noticing the canopy being a bit dense and humid so I added a fan above it. I like think they’re also established enough to take a bit of defoliation here soon to improve airflow.

Day: 92

Switched to the mid flower feed at cut it back to the recommended EC value at 1200. Might take it up higher for the second week of this mix, but don’t want to go too crazy with the higher P blend right away.

organic_grower

organic_grower Nace structure to those plants! 👏

Caliban

Caliban Look healthy!!

Day: 91

Growing explosively now! The buds look significantly bigger every day. Losing some of the evenness to the canopy, especially on the big plant, but I think I can live with it. The stems I stunted earlier were always going to lead to this. Picking up a new EC meter was a smart move, I had actually been giving them 1370EC feed all week! They are scheduled to go to 1300 tomorrow for the late bloom feed and only show maybe some slightly burnt tips while growing well, so I’m currently not too worried about the situation. The new meter is an Apera Instruments from the same line as my ph meter. I highly recommend getting at least this caliber of meters with calibration samples if you’re going to be doing something even semi hydro like this.

stoutgat77 They look fantastic 💨👊🏼

Day: 89

Almost two weeks into flower now and really starting to look the part. My EC meter has been reading suspiciously low so I have a new higher quality one coming tomorrow to compare with. Even if I am over on the EC a bit they still are looking healthy

Day: 81

Have pulled off a few more fan leaves but plan on leaving them alone once they’re fully into flower. Still looking nice and green with no signs of burn yet. Will start with a stronger feed in the morning.

Day: 79

They’re very much in their stretch phase now. Brought up EC to 1050 and will aim to get up to 1150 before the end of the first week of flower. PH 5.8

Day: 76

+1

Both of my girls are showing pistils after just two days! Made way too much of the transitional feed, but that’s a good problem to have. Switching to week one flowering feed for the 9 week schedule tomorrow

Day: 74

Flipping the switch today. These plants have thick stems and a possibly over healthy root system. Here’s to hoping this all translates to weighty buds. Starting off with 6gal of the transitional feed. 1200EC 5.8PH

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth Thanks! That’s a really good idea. I may add some of those to mine next time and maybe make a cap. I think root mass should be beneficial as long as it doesn’t grow too much algae. Are you doing high frequency in coco with your setup?

Day: 68

Taller plant is now about 16”. Going to give the other one a few days to catch up before the flip. Still on late veg feed 1200EC 5.8 PH

mystrain420 _@eaegifts Looks perfect bro, that defoliation and training is on point 👍🏾👍🏾

mrbigglesworth

mrbigglesworth Thanks! First time training like this

Day: 66

Focusing on getting the canopy to cover all of the available space before going to flower. Once they’ve put on a few more inches and hit about 16” off the dirt it’ll be time. Accidentally lopped off a growth tip on the bigger plant, but luckily hadn’t trimmed the one just below. Will be paying attention to yields on that branch, will let me know if I should just take the whole thing off at this point or leave it like I have this time if I make this mistake again.

Caliban

Caliban Looking good! Those plants will get huge. Love the fact that you are letting them veg a bit. It will pay off in the end.

Day: 60

Training coming along well. Took out some of the lower leaves as the top canopy spreads out

GalacticRetro What are those circles around the stem?

NellEightyEight

NellEightyEight Looking beautiful! I'm wondering about the circles as well, also how do you find those air pots? I've been looking at them online and wondered if they were worth a try or just a gimmick, what do you reckon? :)

kargofast

kargofast LOL, the rings are irrigation and the pots are great you can get them from airpotbros.com or amazon but stick to the name brand i have use the cheap ones a well and they fall apart

Overdid the LST on the younger plant. Looking like that one will be 6 main branches. These things happen and it’s probably for the best, considering how big it already is compared to the tent.

Day: 43

Reacting well to the LST. Just doing a little bit everyday. I can already tell keeping the two even will be a chore. Looks like they’re two distinct phenos when you consider how much bushier the younger one already is and how much better it takes the nutes. Fortunately they’re still pretty close to the same height despite the age difference. Keeping the PH at 5.8 seems to be keeping the burn from progressing. Will aim to keep the EC the same when I top of the res next. Added a couple photos of the auto watering system
