Well she’s made it 🫡 a few days maybe a week off where I want it to be for harvest but she survived 🔥 thanks to everyone that’s chipped in and given me tips along the way, I’d have overthought a lot of the small issues and gone overboard without you 👌🏻 she’s definitely no monster but on a setup that cost me less than a meal out I’m far from disappointed, the buds she has are super sticky and covered in trichomes 🤤 once new equipment comes in I’ll be back with another journal but it goes to show, anyone can give it a go without having to remortgage your home when you use bits and bobs you find laying around 🪴 onwards and upwards the next ones going to come back twice as strong 💪🏻 🔥 thanks again everyone, only a few more updates on this one now 🥲 Also shoutout to @mr_big_budz_uk for staying so closely updated on the plant, you’ve helped a million bro 😅 I’ll have something nice enough to send one day 😉 (Week15)(Week8OfFlower)

Pretty happy with where she’s at for my first plant with very limited equipment, this should hopefully be sorted by the time I’m ready to try again 😎 Feeling like she’s a little on the slow side but I’m willing to ride it out until she’s ready. Checked the PH levels of the plant & somethings changed somewhere :/ my water is now at 5.5 and has been for atleast a weekish, but the soil was reading at almost 7.5 ? 🧐 I think the soil meter may be giving me false readings but I’ve got PH up and down on the way to prevent this from happening again. Loads of pistils through, onto trying to fatten them up now 💪🏻 the last picture is of the branch that I’d snapped and taped up, seems to have come back pretty well so I’m quite pleased with that 🎉 Little update on the cuttings too. Out of the 4 branches I decided to cut 3 of them have survived and started to shoot roots, they’ve been put in fresh water this week and hopefully next week will be ready to go into a pot (no rooting agents used, 45* cut as recommended by @mr_big_budz_uk and just popped into some water)🪴 (Week10)(Week3OfFlower)

Final update for this weekend, pistils showing growth by the day. I also thought I’d show you her more peculiar leaves, the first leaf looks as if it almost grew another leaf set if you look close and the second just has a cute 8th finger 🪴

Guessing at week 2 ish of flower now, starting to get hairy and bush out now after her stretch just waiting for that frost 👀 I did snap a branch last week so taped it up and it seems to have healed! All leaves look happy and pistils still shooting through 😎 I’m also giving a couple of trimmings a chance (with a little friend I found) but I don’t know how they’ll do with it being an auto, don’t knock it til you’ve tried it and all that 🤷🏻‍♂️ Think I’m a week or two behind schedule but it’s the first grow and I just want a successful crop before putting more into it. How far into flowering would people say I am ? Pistils started coming through about 2 weeks ago now and she definitely seems to be slowing down or stopping her stretch now, the overlap of the two just seems very long in my opinion but I’m still a newbie 😅 I defoliated about 8 fan leaves and the very lowest set of branches as they weren’t showing many pistils and weren’t going to get sufficient light, looks a bit bare now but she’ll fill out hopefully 🪴

Thinking of defoliating a few lower fan leaves next week maybe as they’re beginning to get covered and aren’t picking up as much light, they were also previously burned/damaged. what’d you guys think ? 🤔 Cruise control seems to have been switched on. She looks happy, gave her a feed of bio-bloom today too so we’ll see what kind of reaction we get to that but it should be good as I’ve chosen the NPK numbers to the soil as it’s nitrogen rich. Got a hygrometer only a cheap one but it’ll help check conditions more accurately instead of me guessing, soil PH levels are pretty bang on too so I’m happy with that 👌🏻 I did accidentally snap a lower branch so I immediately taped it to give it the best chance of recovering, just hoping I didn’t screw that branch completely but it is reassuring to know that she’s starting to stiffen up and is still going through her phases 😅 Also any thoughts on the colour ? I find the colours in the larger leaves really satisfying 👀 but advice would be appreciated too (Week8)(Week1OfFlower)

Thought I’d post some glamour shots seeing as updates are slow 😅 not much change just seems to be back on track and cruising again now 🙂 If you take a look at the last photo the leaf has grown an extra leaf with what looks like a vein or single pistil shooting from near the end, has anyone else had this ?

What’s up growmies 🍃 the auto AK seems to have bounced really well and is looking happy again, signs of damage on some of the fan leaves but they aren’t causing harm and are still fairly healthy, will probably end up defoliating them later anyway. Not much change besides size and density, really starting to fill out now and also I think I can see a few cheeky pistils poking through 😄 think the transplant was necessary too 😅 (week7)

So after a worrying week last weekend she seems to have pulled through okay, I did defoliate two sets of fan leaves as they had yellowed more than I was happy with and were just going to be a drain on the plant but otherwise she seems to be bouncing back okay 😄 also transplanted into a larger pot, this should hopefully be the final pot but we will see because she’s very ‘rooty’. The new growth all seems quite happy, she’s still not 100% but much better than she was, new feed with correct NPK’s should be here this week with a bit of luck too 🤞also been offered a full tent set up so I may have to pick that up for the next run 😙 (Week6)

Was getting concerned but she’s bouncing back okay, gave her a very light dose of feed again but I want to flush her next week and change feeds as the NPK values are off, any recommendations ? Still not totally happy but glad no bad damage was done 😅 debating getting another one on the go now too but I do want to see this one through to take lessons and invest a little more where I need to first 😏

Had a closer look at her while I was adjusting the lights and noticed a few browny tips on a couple of leaves and I don’t know if she might be looking a little shiny too, would the browning be from suspected Nute burn two weeks ago ? Any info or help on the shininess ?

Still really happy with growth on this plant but am debating giving it another light dose of feed, what do you guys tend to look out for with regards to feeding times etc to begin with, I think the first feed I have may have been a little early or strong so I’ll dilute it down more again this time round. After what has felt like the longest week ever we’re reunited! Really happy with growth so far. Seems to be happy in its environment which was a worry after being moved. Starting to gain a light scent now too 🥹 In the first photograph the leaves at the top of the photo seem to have merged when growing, any causes or concerns with this or is it just a mutation like on any other plant ? Also that pair of leaves are a little bent at the tips but it looks quite healthy otherwise any guesses at that ? Happy growing guys! (Week3)

Plant was buried today in a 6” pot in comp, left roughly an inch worth of stem exposed. I did feed her two days ago so she should be okay for a week between the compost and feed. I’m going to miss the daily updates and watching her grow 🥹 but unfortunately updates will be weekly now as she’s been moved home before she gets too big to transport back comfortably, conditions are very similar/virtually the same except there is a little more airflow where she will now live. Midnight haze next anyone ? 👀 (non auto-flowering this time though)

Soil dried out very nicely so that’s no longer a concern, gave her her first bit of feed just now too so we’ll see how she reacts to that over the next few days 😃 still growing nicely day by day too.

Growth seems to have sped up again which I’m happy with & the soil is also drying more by the day which is good too. I’m quite happy with how she’s looking and she seems quite happy to me but any input from more experienced growers is welcome, I’m all ears 👂I think the paler growth was from overwatering but it may have also been from testing new lights out.

The soil is still drying and I definitely won’t be making that mistake again 😅 pretty certain overwatering was the reason for slowed growth and varied colour but she seems to have bounced back.

Had a night away and the soil is starting to dry again now and the lime/yellow growth seems to be growing out with greener growth coming through. With a bit of luck she’ll be okay 🙏

Any advice welcome 🙏 Leaves now spreading & opening but lime green colouring still showing and growth seems to have slowed. Soil is still fairly damp so I’ll let the soil dry and hopefully there wasn’t too much damage done if it is over watering. (Week1)
