01/11/20 Will harvest in a few days. Need to plunge her into darkness for 2 days first. Followed two suggestions by Canadians - starve till wilting 2 weeks before to stimulate trichomes production (which apparently worked!). And then just before drying, do darkness w/ice packed around the stem to make her think a winter freeze is coming & produce trichomes to protect itself.

11:00 AM 09/23/19 Looking much better after restraining the overwatering urge. Bags are still a little heavy since feeding from the bottom a few days ago. Just a few squirts of nutes (honestly) until bedtime. Foliar sprays seem to perk them up overnight.

7:30 PM 09/22/19 Bedtime. Avoided watering all day today. Bags seemed a little heavy, tho dry up to first knuckle. Gave 5-10 sprays of nutes & will leave off true watering till tomorrow. May be moving some of the larger plants to bigger bags. They just feel...stagnated. Added Earth Juice Catalyst 1 mL to 16 oz spray bottle, with 1mL Grow, 1mLHi-Brix, 1mL Microblast, 1 mL Cal Mag. 9:00 PM 09/20/19 Yikes! I got a little over enthusiastic with the foliar feeding. I don’t think they looked so sad before. AND I fed them from the bottom today. So, as I type, I’m imagining root-rot and damping off. 🤦🏼‍♀️ God, I hope I didn’t screw up!

1:00 PM 09/18/19 Gave them a pep-talk last night and some foliar feeding of Hi-Brix + Nutes. I THINK the white dots are residue from that and/or the Great White I sprinkle around occasionally. Pretty sure they are slowing down b/c the roots aren’t moving. Need to start bottom feeding tomorrow.

2:00 AM - 09/13/19 could be a reaction to the brix/cal-mag solution (regular and foliar feedings x2 days, a couple were hulking out & one broke a stem! I took iff all the tape on all of them and instead taped some ribbons to hold them down. It was so painful to peel away the tape, only to realize I’d ripped the leaf. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I feel like crap that I didn’t know they were still straining to go straight up - I’d assumed being so young was enough to create cellular memory, but they started straightening out as soon as I released the tape.

7:00 PM Bedtime! This one is really struggling. Spoke to GYO about how this could have been avoided if they hadn’t sent such an obviously defective seed. They’ve agreed to send a replacement. I’m relieved, as the THC-V in this specific plant may help my dad’s dementia. Fingers crossed that I can actually grow one!
