Started our budding cycle, at 8/16 After a few days it looks like two of the plants are either male or hermaphrodites. 🤷‍♀️ What say you guys? The ones pictured are the ones in question. We are going to throw them out as soon as the daytime comes, because we don’t want to ruin the other two that we are pretty sure are female. 🤞🏻 Damn, ya win some ya lose some. 👌🏻

The girls are getting big! 🙌🏻 About 2 weeks ago we noticed some yellowing on our leaves and the plants weren’t retaining water like they should, they also stopped growing fuller or taller. We tested our water and it is basic AF so we needed to adjust the PH when watering them. 🤷‍♀️ Since we have fixed the PH, the plants started getting big and full again! Our tallest one is about 3 and a half feet tall. 🌱 We are probably going to switch to the budding phase in the next few weeks.👌🏻 Here’s to hoping we get some good bud! 🤗

These littles are lookin killer! The one with my hubs in the background is for sure the tallest, at about 11 inches. We haven’t changed up our routine at all, they seem to be thriving. 👍🏻 We are thinkin’ about adding some nutrients to the soil in the upcoming weeks, to see how they start growing. 🌱 Still waiting to see if we have females... 🤞🏻 Also, my cat is a dick... Steve French, decided that he was gonna sneak a chomp and he bit one of our plants leaves. 🥺 Never fear, though, she seems fine! 👌🏻

Today we topped two of our plants, and left the other two free growing. Our reasoning behind this is because we are curious on how topping or not topping will effect our plants yield. Part of me feels really bad for chopping off these beauties’ head... 🥺 I’m actually really stoked on their progress! They have grown incredibly strong and full.💪 Each night we see probably a half inch of growth! They have become much more fragrant. Each time we open the door to check on them, we are hit with a creeping skunky odor. 🤤 Currently we are running two small compact fans on low speed. We are watering them about every three days. Still on the same light schedule. Still unable to figure out if they are male or female, but I think we are hella close to finding out. 🤞🏻

After transferring these beauties to their big girl pots, we have seen such growth and improvement in just 4 days! 👌🏻 They are standing at about 2 inches right now, with a standard PH of about 7. 🌱 Their light schedule is 16 on, 8 off at the moment, while their watering schedule is subject to change depending on what the meter reads. 💦 We have been having a hard time regulating the temperature. I feel like we are playing Goldilocks.... So far we have too hot reaching a high of 81*F 🔥 and a bit too cold reaching 68*F ❄️ during the day time. We have adjusted how we are doing a few things, added a few different lights, along with a better ventilation system we are hopeful that we will get “just right” very soon. 🤞🏻 Tips always welcome. 😘

We had 3 more sprout! 👌🏻 Today we transferred 4 of the 7 plants to larger pots with actual soil instead of just the starter pods. Unfortunately, we don’t have room to keep all 7 plants. However, we don’t think all of them will be females, so once they are old enough to sex, we will get rid of the males and keep only females. You can already tell a huge size increase in the ones we transferred in comparison to the ones still in the starter pods. 🥰

Out of the 8 I have planted 4 of them have started to come up out of the dirt. 🌱 The other 4 have recently sprouted and are working their way up to the surface. We don’t know the gender of our plants so we are hoping that within the next few weeks we will be able to sex them and then separate the males from females. Fingers crossed for mostly female! 🤞🏻 Our set up is under our stairs and we have lined everything in Mylar, we have two small fans hanging from the ceiling and one roledro light (for the time being) We have a ventilation system that was only sucking air out so the temperature of the room kept rising to above 80*F We purchased another type of fan where the room is now able to have an intake and outtake system. This is helping to regulate the temperature at about 74*F 👍🏻
