macadelik In a kit online. Definitely going to make some living culture. Have yet to test them out tho.

Figured out I cut them too late... fuck. Got a second batch of ones that were just breaking veil. Took a go at a spore print but I think I waited to long.

Tops were light and starting to curl up. This is my first time and if I did it a day too early please let me know! Currently in a dehydrator.

adamsgrow From what I’ve read and seen they say to pick when the veil is mostly torn. I’m not 100% sure on that though.
adamsgrow But if your going for a spore print pick it before the veil breaks
macadelik Yeah man! Lol I was told by someone to wait till the caps are open and light tops. But then I’ve been reading and seeing everywhere that once the veil is half broken they are the most potent

Turning the light on for 12/12. I’ve heard 10 hours light on but also 12. I’m thinking more light better colours bigger mushrooms?

It’s been 5 days since I added the casing soil. I have spots where the white is coming through but other spots where it’s not. I’m thinking I should wait another day or two before introducing a light to fruit. Any suggestions while I do a little research?
