Seedsman Lemon Auto

End of January

Soaked seeds in mason jar with tap water for 18 hours, then did the paper towel germination (If this one doesn’t work out it’s bc of the drastic temperature changes that occurred in germination). Then amended my coco coir and perlite mix with 10% worm castings, and 1/2 a teaspoon of Dynomyco. I was working with around 3.5 gal. Planted in hole in a clear cup within a solo cup so I can check the root system. I made a half and inch deep hole and sprinkled a little dynomyco in the hole. It is in tent with a clear plastic cup over it to keep the environment moist.

Day: 8

+1

After 7 days of watering with ph balanced water and recharge on the 7th day, I am on to week 1 of nutes. I’m going to be using general hydroponics flora trio along with cal-mag for my nutrients. I’m using the Lucas Method (cal-mag, Micro, and Bloom) (1:1:2) because she is an Auto and I found success using this method with my previous Gelat.OG Auto. I mixed the nutrients and added a small amount of PH down to the mix (just started correcting Ph after never doing it before, experimenting to see how much of a difference it makes). Growing in a 70/30 mix of Coco Coir and Perlite, with about 10% worm castings. I amend all my soil mixes with Dynomyco and also sprinkle a little bit in the hole where I plant the seed.

Matthewogrows If I’m being honest not really. I live in an area that’s currently covered in 2 feet of snow and at night it’s been dropping down for anywhere between 20F to 0F. My setup is in my basement so it’s stays quite chilly down here. This is my first attempt at growing throughout the winter and keeping temp and RH levels consistent has been a lot harder than I expected. Over the warmer months I’ll usually bring the plants outside some days if the temp and humidity are off but I’ve been pretty shocked at how much I’ve been needing to fill the humidifier. Any suggestions?

alander Hey matt. I also grow in my cold basement. I recommend getting an ink bird temp and RH controller from Amazon. Runs $70 but I no longer have to worry about my environment other then setting a few settings on the controller. You plug in a space heater and humidifier, set temps and magic!
