Today I was able to get in our house and get the last plant, Rose, that had been drying but in a non air conditioned house with no air movement, no fan, due to power being out going on 11 days now. I have a good loupe and microscope to check for mold. Is it even worth saving at this point? I’ll post pics of the flower up close 🤞🤞🤞. I’ve really missed it here and my gromies

Never had bud look like this. Any ideas? Plant rescue 911 begins now. In about 6 hours I should be reunited with the NOLA 3 left behind to be consumed by Ida but hopefully still standing. Last water/feed was Saturday AM. I'm coming babies. Hang on! They will have to depend on the sunlight for lights and since it's so hot here Idk how they'll do. Life you sure are a cunt dick sometimes. Grow tall y'all!

I don't have any plant pic updates to post....yet. So I thought I'd post this picture of the de-skunk spray I saw on the cleaning crews cart at the hotel we're staying in since evacuating for Ida-Ho. I'm thinking that's how they come in and quickly get rid of the skunky herb smell. Makes me laugh thinking they think "wow these guests sure do get sprayed by skunks a lot" even tho I know that's not what they're really thinking. We're going to try to go home tomorrow and get some important things we had to leave behind and hopefully get a generator and maybe even stay in our own home! Grateful to have a place with AC and water but there's no place like home (and I mean no place 'child)(that's my 227 reference if you know it, you're old!😂) Happy growing y'all!

Looking scrappy but hopefully making a comeback. Can I put the earthworm castings on top of the soil and water in later? She doesn’t need water but I want to use the castings soon, any tips? I read about teas and all but I’m wanting to know about using it dry.

Well gromies it’s currently 92F/33C in the tent & rising every time I check it from a place where I cannot do shit about it. Wife will be home in 3.5 hrs to hopefully fix this. It’s never been this hot. Will they live?

Caliban As long as the fans are on and the soil is damp.
alwaysgrowfuego 92 is warm, but it won’t kill them! If you continue to have this issue, I would recommend checking the cannabis VPD chart to find the recommended humidity range. With a warmer temp like yours, you would need 80-90% humidity for the plant to be happy in that environment. Hope that helped :)
Herban I shouldn’t have to go on anymore business trips (that sounds disgusting bc it is) anytime soon after this. I never thought me having to travel for work could ever happen but here I am. In a hotel eating lunch alone watching my plants and trying to find earlier flights home. I have to take a test and be done. Sorry I’m rambling. Accidentally took off a small branch. I was removing dead leafs a bit too aggressively. I feel terrible. I want to try to root the poor branch? Stop laughing. Also I notice the sick stems look purple compared to the rest of her. Ayyy

Herban Yeah a gave them all 1/8 tsp in a gallon water with some molasses yesterday.
Herban Should I do more before I leave? My wife will be able to water them since I’m gone till Wednesday but maybe at 4am when I get up I can give them some more maybe another dose in a smaller amount of water?

Going to water with plain ph’ed water today. Bought some sensi bloom on Amazon but the barcodes are blacked out and I’m not gonna use it after seeing reviews. Bummer but may be for the best from what I read. Anyone have any experience using it off Amazon?

Had to have an emergency plumber come and his wife. He walked in and said “it smells really good in here” I was like shit nose blindness is a thing and it’s time for a duct fan. My wife doesn’t partake and has a nose like a blood hound and she hasn’t even made a complaint about the smell, says she hasn’t noticed. 🧐🤯😳😑

Caliban CO2 works best when temps are warm and only during daylight. Science backs that statement. They look good for now. If you add Co2 your grow tent should be configured properly so that you are not evacuating the gas. Lots of good videos on how to.
Caliban I use a CO2 tank. But the breathe bags are reportedly effective. Or you can make your own with plastic bottles and some sugar and yeast etc
Herban Thanks Caliban! You always have the knowledge I need. I should probably get the smell under control by getting the duct fan since I can’t keep the tent door closed or it’s too hot. I realized this after I ordered the stupid C02 that It’ll all be waste unless I can close the flap, Flapjack 🥞

Seedling root has rooted thru the paper towel. I was able to remove it in one piece but it looks like it has a little p towel coating. The helmet came off when I moved it to the pot so I left a little bit uncovered from soil. Medium is FFHF on bottom and soil sunrise on top watered with filtered water. should I cover the sprout with soil?
