I’ve been really slacking on updates so here’s where I am currently: Haven’t even hit day 50 since the switch and yet these flowers are looking ripe for harvest. Trichome heads are 95% milky, no amber ones on the buds yet from what I can see, hairs are about 80-90% turned, also the hairs on some of the cola tops have started to shrivel up. They are ripe and ready for harvest IMO. I think I will harvest within 2-3 days. Notes: For future grows I will not be doing any heavy defoliations further than week 3 of flower.

Over the past 3 weeks both plants were slowly starting to fade to yellow at the tops with leaf edges and tips starting to brown. The lower leaves were starting to look badly burned. Similar in appearance to a potassium deficiency. Last night it finally made sense to me. The problem is light burn from my COB LEDs. I used the potentiometer to dim the intensity to about half power instead of full power. I’m hoping to see the damage stop spreading, then I’ll know my diagnosis was correct.

A week into flower, 24” tall. Tops are starting to develop nicely. Added a supplemental, but necessary, secondary light source to provide more coverage. My second ph meter broke today, gotta stop buying cheap plastic crap from China. To the local hydro shop I go! ...tomorrow. It’s 10pm. Goodnight.

Plants are 23” tall. Just flipped to flower after battling some bugs for the last two weeks almost. Nutrients are at 1/4 recommended strength.

Plants are now 14” tall. Raised the light several inches because I was starting to see burnt leaf edges. Topped off with fresh water and balanced ph to 6.0 again.

12” tall still but I cropped all the tall branches last night. Roots are growing faster than I could’ve imagined.

Clones taken September 16. The plants are currently 12” tall and have been on an 18/6 light schedule with medium nutrients. This is day 2 in the new RDWC system I just built. For nearly 3 weeks prior to this they were in an ebb and flow. They’ve shown tremendous growth already. The roots have grown several inches in just over 24 hours.

Plants are 11” tall. This is day one of the RDWC install and transplant. Roots are barely out of the bottoms of the 6” mesh pot lids.

Transplanted week old clones into ebb and flow. They were 7” branches when cloned, basically the same size as they are in this picture from September 22 when I installed them in my old system. Started very Light nutrients.
